Back when interviews were classy. Notice that never at anytime did he pry into her issues or her private life. I miss shows like this.

I am so PROUD TO BE the Dick Booth that Natalie speaks of in the first six minutes of this interview. At UMASS, she had her problems with self esteem. Plus drugs. I convinced her NOT TO BE a child psychologist ( that her very stern mother wanted her to be), but instead, that she was a singer that has all the talent and ability to control her career HERSELF, rather than have record companies dictating all the terms. "Just tell 'em what YOU want...just do it, say it, in a nice way." And the rest is r&b and pop history. Dick Booth C20-20rwbeeINK

@@KevinETaylor Kevin? I am so happy she was important in your direction. Other talents also give Natalie the credit for their inspiration. And so many more millions have been entertained by her on record, on TV/film, and on performance stage all these years. And to those lucky enough to know her on a personal level...she leaves us gallons of sweet emotional tear drops. One big moment for me was in front of Capital Records following her STAR INDUCTION INTO THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME. Natalie noticed me at the rear of crowd . She ran from the stage and up to me, threw her arms around me and said; “If it wasn’t for you Dick Booth, I wouldn’t be here today!” C20-20inkRWBEE Check out my KZitem channel for another great talent! this is the kind of Black Sista I wish I could have been her age back then and became her boyfriend or Husband?! Natalie Cole was not only Talented Singer! But her Demeanor and beauty are not like the Afro American Sistas of today! Even though I'm a youngster! I can tell this is what and how a real black Woman should Carry herself and Pattern herself after?! Wow that Sexy Voice the way she talks that's how I would want my Future Wife to Sound or Just that Demeanor she has! Its remarkable how humble she is! If more Sistas could be this way! Man I would be Vouching for good sistas like this all the time!! But the 2010s till now is the Worst! Even the female R&B artists do not carry there self's like this anymore as of today!!! The classiness is her Voice and the tenderness!!! Wow R.I.P. lovely lady you no longer had to suffer in this Crazy mixed up God forsaken World! I hope you are home and resting well?!! Would have liked to meet you back then if I was already a grown Man and took you out! you seem to be Ideal classy Wife?! Wow she was age 39 When this episode aired!! she looks So fine indeed!!

Sir, maybe its YOU who is the problem. There are plenty of black women that are attractive and articulate. They are out here waiting for quality men who are not colorists, family men, prosperous, and MONOGAMOUS.
