watched this llive and was stunned as no one at that time attacked like this ...where were it might be its demolishing attack with just one wicket.if he had stayed a little patient he could have went on to score fastest 300 and also won the match that will be in history .still this is history.

@@Lakshya-p2sit’s not him it’s one of his subscribers and a long time fan of his work. He literally took a week off from work to DL all videos right after 2nd strike and started uploading every video one by one. He did amazing work. I know this because he posted the same thing when he created this new channel. It was a lot of hard work considering he uploaded 9 years worth of videos in 1 week. Also added link to original Roblinda purchase coffee as it was his good work. Also this new channel is non monetised.

Thorpe who passed away yeterday scored England’s fastest 200 the previous day and wouldn’t have imagined his monumental effort would so easily and quickly be overshadowed by Nathan. The only consolation for England is that they still won. As an England fan, it was fun initially but then it got increasingly nervous. Even though it was made by an opposition batsman, sometimes you just need to doff your hat and say “well played”. Well played, Astle RIP Thorpey

listened to a lot of this in the UK in the middle of the night, on a weekend away. The pitch was a "drop-in" so started damp, and just got better to bat on. Thorpe & flintoff getting hundreds Amazing game

The forgotten man of NZ cricket. He propped up many an inning for NZ in tests and ODIs, and deserves better acknowledgment of his overall record and achievements. He's certainly the one I remember most from my years following the Black Caps from that time when I was at school. He wasn't the biggest Astle, but put saw off so many menacing, or formidable World bowling attacks with his clean stroke making. Also, great to listen once more to Martin Crowe commentating. What a batter he was too. Never forgotten.

Surprised no Indian fan has given you 100 innings of Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid, Ganguly, Kohli, Rohit, et al that are a “million” times better than this. But truly special innings. Personally I like Gavaskar’s last test innings of 96 against a very good Pakistan attack on a Bangalore minefield in 1987 more. Pakistan had 3 spinners who were weaving webs around the rest of the Indian batting (Azharuddin scored 26, I think everyone else scored in single figures). Gavaskar displayed batsmanship of the highest quality, you need to watch it to believe it. Coincidentally, that was made in a losing cause too.
