Your 4g daily limit is baseless. I've been eating much larger quantities of fresh ginger daily for years. Ginger is a very safe and amazing food and will transform your life if you consume it daily - seriously. Consuming even 4 - 6 heaped tablespoons of fresh grated Ginger daily is totally safe. A good way to start is to make Ginger/Clove tea - to make the tea you grate 2 heaped tablespoons grated Ginger, add 1 heaped tablespoon of Cloves and add 2 cups of water into a saucepan. Let it gently boil (simmer) with lid on, over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Strain tea and sip at less one cup prior to bed. Place left over in fridge and drink in morning before eating. Do this nightly and after 14 days you will notice a measurable increase in libido, cleared sinuses, no joint pain, awesome sleep, faster workout recovery etc etc. Ginger has cured my athletes foot, my snoring, cravings for sugar etc etc.

I been becoming quite the health nut over the past year. Had a blood pressure scare so made crazy life style changes one of them is eating raw garlic every day. Incorporating that garlic in my diet by eating 2 sliced up cloves raw, seems to have had the most drastic change in my bp in my opinion. Last month I got it checked at 135/80, 5 days ago got it checked again and it was 117/78. Problem with garlic is that stuff is very unpleasant to choke down and leaves my breath kickin all day long. I heard this ginger stuff is also very effective in cardiovascular health and also allegedly has the ability to neutralize funky breath so about to be doing this stuff raw too. Based on your video it seems like its going to be just as unpleasant to choke this down too

You are welcome! I've seen videos of people eating garlic and they eat a ton of it so I did not know what the proper amount to be I know I've read many times that garlic can thin your blood and so it was kind of scary about how much to eat. Cuz you hear people say to eat natural stuff and it's really good for you which a lot of it is but at the same time some things can be bad for you. Like if you eat raw potato, or apple seeds have strict none of them a poison so if you ate a bunch of them it could actually kill you so I love natural stuff but just because it's natural doesn't mean it can't kill you. You hear those people lost out in the woods and they eat berries and then it kills them because they're poisonous so got to be careful about what you eat and how much.

I put that in with an apple and a handful of strawberries. Pomegranates blueberries and 1% milk in a blender and blended up and it's tasty. Good you could also substitute turmeric for the ginger. @@kevinstarner7929 😁, experimenting with different foods for many years and I feel like I always get the same benefit if I sit there and chew on it and which taste horribly nasty or if I blend it with spinach or Apple or carrots and then drink it I feel like I get the same benefit. You'll know you get the same benefit because if you eat too much Ginger or too much garlic thins your blood out so much you kind of get light-headed.

I am sure you would but you would probably want to eat something with it. I think they sell ginger pills also you could take. Ginger is strong and could upset your stomach. If you do it let me know how it works for you.

@@JohnDaniels I've cut back to a safer seeming 10 grams and still may cut back more... Yeah, I'd say I feel pretty healthy but that's especially because I stopped drinking and smoking 9 months ago, and now I've moved my obsession over to food and drink as medicine. I just got to remember not to over do even the medicine lol... Though I haven't felt any negative side effects from eating that much ginger off and on for years, besides a couple nights with a brief stomach ache... Again I'm looking for proper "balance" in my life/diet so thanks again for showing us just how little it takes sometimes. Ginger is strong medicine, so it makes sense you shouldn't need much... I just miss chewing on it all day lol

@@avo9029 yeah that's interesting are you under a lot of stress stress can cause something called gastritis also if you're having those types of problems I'm just telling you from my personal experience I had a lot of stress and it was causing something called gastritis so I had a lot of acid indigestion all the time and then also your diet of course can play a huge part in it and depending on what you eat you'd want to switch to fresh fruits and vegetables a lot of those and like beans for protein and stay away from any fatty foods like no fast foods no Cokes or sodas or try to cut out as much sugar as possible no sweets or snacks and if you change your diet like that and have less stress and then do that for a few months and see if the stomach issues go away if they do at least you know you're going in the right direction good luck my fellow traveler
