When you put those things together you have a "role model." This is precisely what veteran WNBA players do not understand - doesn't matter if you're the best player, if you ain't got class you're nothing. Why does America adore Simone Biles? She's the best - and got class. Are you starting to get the picture? Funny how they try highlight Caitlin's struggles this season while neglecting the fact that regardless of those struggles or her teams record, she still generates greater attendance and viewership and as a result greater revenue than those "better" vets which benefits all. The spike in ticket sales, viewership and revenue isn't because of new wnba fans but the fanbase of this rookie class following them. Hating on a player for their popularity while enjoying the benefits of fans who didn't come to see them seems a bit hypocritical. But it is what it is.

The problem is, that would change everything too much...the shooting, the look & feel of the entire game would likely lose too much of its integrity. The thing is, WNBA women are so far less explosive than NBA men & have a much shorter standing reach, so it's not like lowering it to even 9' would produce many good looking dunks. The rim would have to go down to at least 7'6", if not 7'...then it just changes the game entirely, all so that we can see some women dunk with their 14" vertical leaps (not a joke). Its a common thing that happens: Here is a list of notable white individuals who have achieved success in fields traditionally dominated by Black culture but have also faced criticism or vilification from parts of the Black community: Elvis Presley - While celebrated as the "King of Rock and Roll," Elvis faced criticism for appropriating Black music and achieving fame and financial success in a genre rooted in Black culture, often overshadowing the contributions of Black artists. Eminem - Despite his respect and admiration for hip-hop culture, Eminem has faced criticism for his appropriation of the genre and for being able to achieve success and recognition in ways that Black artists often struggle to attain. Macklemore - He received backlash, particularly after winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2014 over Kendrick Lamar, with critics arguing that his success was partly due to his race and the music industry's bias. Iggy Azalea - An Australian rapper who faced significant criticism for cultural appropriation, using a Southern American accent in her raps, and being perceived as exploiting Black culture without fully understanding or respecting its roots. Robin Thicke - He faced criticism for his hit "Blurred Lines," which was seen as borrowing heavily from Marvin Gaye's style without proper acknowledgment, and for perpetuating issues of misogyny and cultural appropriation. Justin Timberlake - While successful in pop and R&B, Timberlake has been criticized for cultural appropriation and for failing to support Black artists and causes consistently, notably during the 2016 Super Bowl incident involving Janet Jackson. Miley Cyrus - Though not a consistent figure in R&B or hip-hop, Cyrus faced significant backlash for adopting hip-hop aesthetics and twerking during her "Bangerz" era, which many saw as a blatant appropriation of Black culture. Post Malone - A rapper and singer who has been criticized for his comments on hip-hop and for not fully respecting the culture, despite his success in the genre. These individuals have encountered criticism for their perceived appropriation of Black culture, benefitting from a system that often advantages white artists in genres and fields rooted in Black experiences.

Your not going to be worried about Clark soon as she probably will end up in the hospital soon if something isn"t done. Closeline her today.

They lied. Nobody had embraced her. Reese has Spoon that treats her as a daughter not just a coach. Kate Martin had the whole Aces team showing her constant love and support. But this whole league is hating on Caitlin no one is supporting her. Hopefully these men in the NBA like Stephon Curry will come to her rescue since her game resembles his.

Christine Brennan transcript on the Rich Eisen Show ... "I think there has 2:01 been a notion out there for some that 2:04 Caitlyn Clark has not had a good first 2:06 month I think she's had a great first 2:08 month she is being bird dogged and 2:11 blitzed and double and triple teed and 2:14 covered all 94 feet there is no one in 2:17 the WNBA that has received that not 2:19 terazzi not juwel Lloyd not Kelsey Plum 2:21 not escq none of them what does that 2:24 mean that means she she's the most 2:26 important player in the league she's not 2:27 the best player in the league not yet 2:29 maybe ever who knows but she's the most 2:31 important because they're treating her 2:32 that way and I think that's fascinating 2:35 and these are defensive statistics by 2:37 the way not mine their statistics in the 2:39 league that she is the most heavily 2:41 defended player in the league not tozi 2:44 not any of them so that tells me that 2:46 people think she's the best or I mean 2:48 that she's worthy of that not the best 2:49 but Focus whatever she's the she's the 2:52 one you want to stop and yet I saw her 2:54 have seven threes and score 30 against a 2:57 really bad Washington team the other day 2:59 in front front of the biggest crowd over 3:01 20,000 in 17 years in the WNBA and then 3:05 within a few hours she was being told 3:06 she wasn't on the team um this is a 3:09 magical moment she is the Highwire act 3:11 in the circus Rich ..."

ESPN and the WNBA are like watching the WWE. Full of promos and fake content. The fact that someone is funding this stuff and thinks it’s a good idea is also very concerning.

You know what's sad? I've been watching NBA and Div 1 hoops my entire life... when these guys just say the team name instead of the city I have absolutely no clue what city the team actually plays for. Goes to show you how big of a joke the WNBA has been all these years. First team I ever knew the actual city was Indiana for the Fever BECAUSE OF CAITLIN.

I love this panel, but … where are her mentors? Who is a mentor ? Name even one. The veteran players that she has idolized have done nothing but target her and diminish her in the public. She hasn’t received any veteran welcome that I can tell. She’s been rejected and envied by players and coaches. Stop gaslighting the public. She’s on a lousy team with a coach that doesn’t know how to utilize her with teammates who never pass the ball back to her.

Afro samurai, everybody is coming for the number one head band. IF you don't understand what I mean look at the show. Once she understands people wont what she has , she was labeled number one women player in the world and people are coming to test her and try and take what she has; other teams are not concerned about the other players on her team and they are coming after her , her team mates need to step up to take some of the pressure off her .

Drafted number one dosen't mean you're the best player in the world, it only means you're the best player on the draft. Clark is far away from being the best.

Read what I txt. I said the MEDIA put the number one on her head. The MEDIA tells many people how to think and what to think , so many players want to put her to the test if the MEDIA believes she the best let me show the MEDIA I got something to say about it.

So they're looking a babysitter for Caitlin Clark?😂 So them women hate her all because they're going out and competing and making her earn her spot instead of giving it to her all because y'all clowns think everything is supposed to be handed to her. All of them up there have a script they have to go by because telling CC fans what they want to hear is good for business. I'm having a good time laughing my ass off of the people going to these arenas paying all that money to see her throw bricks and turn the ball over.🤣🤣🤣 That's yall GWH tho👍🏾

Her coach is not setting her up for success. She’s putting her in the corner only to pass the ball . Of course her confidence is down. She’s a rhythm shooter, and coach won’t allow for that. Why graft her at all? For $$$. It’s hard to watch. I started following Clark in college. I’m a new fan to the W, but i don’t like how this league is treating this rookie. Please don’t tell me it’s the same for Reese. Ojease don’t insult my intelligence and what I can see with my own 2 eyes. Please . Are you going to ignore Carrington’s tweet before the Fever Vs Dream game? Smith dates Carrington and Boston is good friends with her. Not awkward at all. No.

I notice now yiu guys are trying to talk in more support of her but thats after she wasn't picked for Olympic team. Like i said before watch how the WNBA women start treating her nicer after the Olympics. But ill say this fans will show you they aren't happy with her not being on the team...

I'm getting sick of this talk though . I have 5 lil cousins who love watching Caitlin play and I will not let them hear no negative when she plays I let them watch but they will never be on KZitem to hear the negative it's really sad.
