Just really weak stuff from two guys whose opinions I normally respect. I understand you have to tread lightly at this point, but to downplay the role sign stealing can play in the outcome of a game is absolutely baffling. They knew the plays based on scouting that occurred in a manner that was clearly against NCAA bylaws. Do you understand that they have been nearly 80% against the spread in conference games during the time this was happening? How is that not massively concerning to you, if not absolutely unacceptable? Do you really want to watch a sport where a team knows exactly what the other is going to do all the times? Complete garbage, guys. Learn to pivot when you’re wrong. Be better.

I personally believe they've had it out for Harbaugh for a long time due to his media persona and public popularity and he probably doesn't run in the right circles of the NCAA because he's done well in the pros. He simply doesn't care what any of the other coaches/officials think so now that he's doing even better than top 10 they are bringing the hammer down on him to get him out. If this goes through and they get Michigan for this, Harbaugh may leave for the pros, this might do it. Look at Kansas and Bill Self, or Coach K and Duke, they could get away with almost anything, The FIFA scandal etc, but several Big 10 teams can't get by with anything, even non-sport drama and scandal(IU, M.State, Ohio State, North Carolina) etc.

FBS Division 1 college football is the most poorly structured sport in all of organized sports. The ranking system is horrible. Schedules are horrible. The single game "Playoff" is horrible. A committee who decides what teams can play in that single game playoff is horrible. Heisman award has lost its true purpose. NIL, transfer portal, conference realignments, ect have ruined it.The money and tv deals don't help at all either. FCS Division 2 has it set up correctly. The games don't have the big crowd atmosphere, but are very exciting to watch. Especially during the playoffs. True playoffs that make more sense.

The comparison to the Astros makes zero sense. if teams changed their signs every single game, and someone from Michigan was at a practice recording the new signs it seems very unethical but how is being at a game giving so much more of an advantage when you could just watch a team play all year and tv broadcasts show teams signs at least 3-4 times a game. by time they played someone like Ohio State, they could have most of their signs without ever doing something technically illegal. I think this whole thing is a witch hunt and Michigan will demolish Ohio State at the end of the year even with them changing up their whole play style to accommodate Michigan doing what every other team is doing.

The one thing that leads me to believe Michigan was taping plays and signs is that they’ll dominate during the regular season but once they get to the playoffs they choke. One reason for them choking is that they don’t have tape on the those particular teams because they don’t know which teams will make the playoffs or which teams they’ll play in a bowl game. Lol

There is plenty of tape of every single team. Jesus Christ how can people be this clueless.

@@millzz1178yep....and the bowl game gives them an entire month to study all that film exclusively. Michigan lost to Georgia because Georgia was a juggernaut. Michigan lost to TCU because JJ was still a youngin' and Michigan hadn't the need to play from behind until that game.

@@millzz1178not at all what he meant and you know it. They don't have tape on their signs and what plays are gonna be ran like they do against the teams on their schedule.

@@millzz1178 yea but did Michigan actually go to the games in person to tape TCU, UGA and the rest of their playoff and bowl game opponents?! They know their regular season schedule so they could easily prepare for that but didn’t have a clue on who they were going to play in the postseason. Anyway if you read my comment you would see that I said it “leads me to believe,” that doesn’t mean I actually believe what the media is saying. Tbh I think ESPN is mad that one of their SEC darlings isn’t dominating like usual so they ran with a narrative to try and diminish Michigan’s credibility as a great team. I’m speculating myself so I can be totally wrong about all of this

I'd vote Joel President of football but I would miss him and Gus calling games.
