The catching of the oversteer is awesome , it looks so predictable -- almost like the horse and the rider are one....😊👍

The most fun car to drive bought one over a 911 991.1 carrera s

Oh no, you can’t say that. 911 are great cars too. On the other hand, there many other small cars very fun to drive. I think about the Peugeot 205 GTI and 206 S16, Abarth, etc. But yeah Miata is very fun 😊

@@gliderfs621 911s are good nowadays but a 911 gt3 cant compare to the fun of a small rwd lightweight car like the miata. The only car more fun is a air cooled 911 964 from the 80s, n theres some other cars that are just as fun aswell, like the old alfa romeo giulia, lotus elan s2, lotus elise.
I owned an Ariel Atom for 7 years and it was a blast. I much prefer smaller, lightweight, tossible sports cars than big, heavy bulky ones like the Corvette or Mustang. I recently bought a 2019 ND2 Miata RF, really fun car.

The only car better than MX-5 is 718, and not by much. But it's way more expensive. 911 is great, no doubt, but it's a different category.

Hey you probably know this but in case you or your viewers don't... at these altitudes, your brakes will not have normal cooling characteristics and are very easy to overheat. Please be careful with hard braking at anything over like 4,000ft! That said, cool car and cool vid. I have an ND myself and live in Colorado near the mountains.. these drives make everything worth it!

The standard exhaust is perfect for Miata. It's peaceful at low rev, altho you can still hear the bass at very low speed with windows open, and it's not drowning the engine at high rev. I much prefer to hear the mechanical sound of the engine rather than just the exhaust, and that's what you get with the standard exhaust.

@@GoDriveMX5nice! I saw you run coilovers. The fender rub depends also on the height, from tires to fender. Do you know how high the fender sits? Also how does the wilwood brakes feel, also compared to stock? Do they overheat?

@@sanghyunlee8254 I haven't touched the fenders actually and there is no rub there. I'm not running that extreme of a camber setup it's -2 front -1.6 rear with 7 or 8 degrees of caster and zero toe all round
