When I was in 6th grade I stopped cutting my hair, only _washed_ it with conditioner cause I wanted soft & shiny hair, wore a fedora and had heavy amount of Fubu, Rockeware, phat pharm and Tap out. It was a fucking mess. I went to a elementary with a dress code so me dressing myself was a badddd experience. By 7th grade I learned a small bit about of personal & social hygiene. So I started using shampoo and put the conditioner down entirely, got rid of the fedora and replaced my 2000s urban youth outfits with a different type of 2000s urban youth outfits. It was heavy on active wear. Including knockoff phiton necklaces and parts of my baseball uniform. Specifically on Thursdays I wore all red including knee high socks. But it's all still an improvement. Surprisingly I never stunk. Anyway... By 8th grade me and my friends decided to _become preps_ and dressed exclusively in Aeropostal, American eagle, Hollister & Abercrombie & Fitch, sperrys were mandatory. I even decided to cut my not shoulder length hair. It was such a radical change that when I approached this girl I had a crush she asked me if I had transferred that year because she had never seen me before. We both had last names starting with M so we had the same home room the previous two years. It was a fucking shot in the chest. So I just uncomfortably laughed and said nah, just got a hair cut lol. That was a rough time in my dumbass life. But absolutely hilarious in retrospect. I still have one of my old fedoras. Never forget where you came from, my brothers. I'm gay, amen.

I remember watching Slowbeef riff that katana guy on his Retsupurae offshoot that focused on cringey vloggers.

I still remember working at an HMV as a co-op position back in my final year of high school. I worked with a few other people who were my age and were also doing this job for co-op and working the weekday afternoon shift was just boring as fuck. I could never help anyone since everyone was either some 60 year old looking for some music from the 1600s (why they think I would know anything about this shit is beyond me but whatever) or it was someone like this one guy who a co-op co worker had to help. I am just doing my weekly Monday rounds of organizing the DVD section, adding and putting them in order and I noticed this one younger teen was asking for Dragon Ball Z season DVDs. My co worker chose to assist him and I just see them there for like 10 minutes hearing this DBZ fan talking about random shit about the show that was so oddly specific. After they are done, I just go up to him like "what was that about"? Co worker was on about how he kept talking about this series and how he knew every detail in each episode and he knew exactly what episodes they were (like, oh it's season 2 episode 58 DBZ Takes my Life) and I am just there laughing and being thankful that I didn't have to deal with this. Retail is fun.

Nice book report. Docking some points for lack of brevity
