There isn't a vibration "problem" with the 900 Tiger. Does it vibrate more than the Tiger 800? Yes but not to be bothersome but to most sensitive hands. The Tiger 900 engine much better than Tiger 800 in terms of low and mid range torque across the board. Vibration sensitive riders need to stay away from all Moto Guzzis, all Harley's, most Royal Enfield's, all the BMW R9T models, etc etc. I've owned several models of all these bike and there is certainly more bothersome vibrations with these brands than the Tiger 900.

Not a happy chappy, bought a new Tiger 900 GT Aragon edition September 23. It's a great bike but was unaware of the new upgraded motor with the extra power. Agree with the dash it's a bit complex to read the rev counter, and think the newer version is a good upgrade. The heated seat was replaced with the lower engine bars on my model, but if it's packaged with the new bike as standard, It will be an added bonus. Overall the 2023 Tiger 900 Aragon edition is a good bike, just a bit off with not realising the new version has a fuller package.

Another great review... Shame Triumph didn’t ditch the T plane crank and go with the proven conventional cross plane crank... clearly the vibrations or ‘character’ as Triumph calls it are a little too intrusive hence the introduction of the vibration absorbing handle bars... i had one of the first back in May 2020, 15,000 miles was enough of numb hands on motorway journeys... I mentioned the vibration to Triumph and they were very dismissive having suggested it was deliberate to add character!! Seems they’re looking to reduce this ‘character’!! I think they’ve just gone for this configuration just to be different it makes no operational difference but adds a resonance that’s uncomfortable on long trips... a great bike but so easily could’ve been so much better with a cross plane crank 😊🍻👍

Nicely done Triumph! 2021 900 Rally Pro owner. Had considered the Rally, but the extra Rally Pro mode combined with other features just made it a better value for me. Anyway, they seemed to have addressed a few of the issues I have/had with mine. First off, that TFT! I've gotten used to mine, but would be lovely if one could update software (most likely firmware though =/ ) I reduced some of the perceived vibration and significantly improved my comfort by switching the Rally handlebar for one from a GT...more sweep and slightly taller (identical geometry to my BMW GS and GSA bars), so thats nice. I use toggle bolts on the bar clamps and I can quickly rotate the bars up for standing work. I cant tell for sure, but it looks like that may have addressed the hot-air-blasting-on-the knees issue with the new bodywork...radiator exhaust being slightly more forward and angled out maybe? I dont feel my bike lacks for power, damn thing's a hoot, but more is always appreciated =) I like that gray with orange accents...

The power increase is largely in the range where few, in the real world, actually go. It’s a headline grabber to compete with others in their class such as KTM hence 108 bhp over 105 bhp of the 890. I’d have far sooner seen the low and mid range improved and along with it improved fuel economy. Not enough for me to change to a viby triple.

Interesting fact about the QuadLock wireless charging head: If your phone is using a GPS navigation app and playing music from a streaming app at the same time, the QuadLock charger does not provide enough power to charge your phone. Over the course of hours, you’ll notice that the phone’s battery slowly trickles down towards zero despite being on the charger. This is not a problem unless you’re riding for 6+ hours in a day and even then you can charge your phone when taking breaks to regain some juice. Still, it will lead to disappointment if you think that the QuadLock charger will keep your phone topped up after a long ride because that is not the case. I tend to arrive at my destination with about 50% charge on an iPhone 13 Pro Max after ~6 hours of riding. Luckily, QuadLock will sell you portable batteries that fit on the QuadLock case so you can recharge off the bike.

I'm still puzzled why Triumph hasn't put the smooth chain driven 120 degree 1200RS motor in a new 1200RS Tiger Sport or 1200RS Sprint ??? Suzuki & BMW have spotted this gap but Triumph are totally blind ? They were advised by their own early pre production test riders that the 120 motors were better but decided to cater for the minority offroad market instead, so can only conclude internal marketing politics are to blame 🤷

The triumph navigator app is one of, if not THE worst on the market.

They dropped the regular Rally model for 2 reasons. 1 is ofc because of sales. But it's also because nobody really does proper off-roading on their Tiger. People buy the "off-road biased" models just for the looks. If there was no Rally model, to begin with, those people who had bought it would've most likely purchased the Rally-Pro model. So, it makes no sense to keep it.

Triumph 900 worried about Vibrations above 100kms..Many here in India have shared this feedback so dropped off and looing for BME 850 GSA..

Some models being dropped may also be to do with pcp, many people aren't bothered about list prices when it's only a few quid extra a month for the higher spec. Personally, I wouldn't go the pcp route, but many do.

Do we know if they have changed the gearing? Had a ‘20 GT Pro and doing 70mph in 6th on a main road, dual carriageway or motorway was painful, sounds and feels like it needs a 7th gear, revs its nuts off. Also on the ‘24, the indicators being on all the time as a run light is NOT a good idea, BMW do this on the 21-23 GS and Honda on the AT, people glance when at a junction and if they see orange think you are indicating! There have been accidents caused because of it, I believe BMW have changed this for the 1300GS but many existing g owners are changing these on un light indicators with Weiser kits.

I see the weights listed wet this time. How have they changed? Higher? Lower? The same? Can we tell?

Does anybody have real wet weights for the previous gen Tiger 900 Rally Pro or GT Pro?

Triumph have to reduce the size of the exhaust in all adventure catagory. Like bmw 1300 gs it's pretty compact and looks good.

The 800 and 900 has only one problem as far as I am concerned, and that is torched knees. Millimetres here or there is not to interesting because everyone is different in body and preference. The saddle looks uncomfortable, but has to be tried. RPM counter is not interesting as you can hear and feel your revs and I hope that the screen is not as slow as on the 1200... Low level indicators running as positioning lights is a joke. No one ever will see them. Vibration? I don't know. It never bothered me, but I am a new rider so I can't comment. All in all, for Europe, the departure from the A2 territory might be a shot in the foot and won't attract the same business.

Definitely looks like Triumph have been listening to their customers, good on them. Some nice updates to the upcoming models. Do you know if they fixed the squinty headlights like they did on the 1200?

Wow... then the upcoming Tiger 850 must be pretty damn good too. Too bad that extra 13% of power is all heaped up at the very top end where people seldom go on this bike anyway.

Always think triumphs look ok till you get up close and they’ve seen one bought of British weather. Test ride one (and I’ve test rode/owned all bikes in this class) and it’s nice but not great, bit dull.

Do they actually set out to make adventure bikes ugly on purpose? I don't understand the aesthetic design concept of this entire class? It's not unique to Triumph...they all seem to be uniquely ugly lol.

If Triumph gives one for free now I won't ride it any more. what a piece S***t that engine is That vibration destroyed the bike after 18000 miles on it. now the bike is in the corner of the garage with 8 thousand pounds in repair costs which I preferred to buy a different bike instead of fixing that piece of crap. If you are an everyday rider don't waste your money if you are a weekend warrior it is a good bike

I’m sure this is a very good bike but as the majority are never going to see off rode isn’t it time to move back to more road oriented motorcycles with a bit of sole I just don’t understand why these bikes are so popular?

RE the vibrations you mention "Triumph have noticed this in their reviews and customer feedback..." but it begs the question why they thought it's a good idea not to fix it from the start? If their test riders couldn't feel it, perhaps they need to include different people in their tests.

This was already a great bike i.m.o. - That's quite a considerable power increase - if it's really better with fuel as well, it's looking like a good proposition.
