I have personally tried all 3 of the major keyboard solutions for the iPad Pro. The Logitech, the magic keyboard, and the Brydge keyboard. The logitech just wasn’t the right for me because 1 it doesn’t work very well on your lap, 2 its impossible for one handed use, and 3 it makes the iPad feel like a surface product. The magic keyboard’s 2 biggest flaws are the fact that there aren’t a whole lot of angles and the no function row. The Brydge keyboard suffers from the problems that most 3rd party accessories have when they enter the apple ecosystem and that’s they unfairly can’t utilize the hardware the same way apple does. The Brydge in my opinion is the best alternative to the magic keyboard tho by a country mile. If the Brydge keyboard came with a usb c or thunderbolt connector that connects to the iPad and then had several ports on the side then it would be the best option.

I really like the fact that it's magnetic now! And I'm glad they made an 11-inch version now :)

The hinges of Brydge iPad Pro keyboards are like well made French cookies… they crumble with your touch… I have been through 4 keyboards, broken exactly at the same place… all keyboards went through about 40 open-close cycles.

The good thing about this keyboard is that it's wireless and has a large trackpad which means even if it doesn't work good with iPadOS, it'll work really well with macOS with sidecar.

I just picked up $50 Australian dollars ($38 USD) keyboard from amazon and I must say I’m really impressed with it, It’s not Apples keyboard but its 1/10 of the price and functions pretty well including gestures to my surprise. Search iPad Choetech keyboard case.

Does this support the pitaka case? Would I be able to have it on my iPad while attached to this keyboard? Would it also support iPad skins?

🤔 I am wondering if they can brydge the gap some more. Like make the upper half (as in casing where you rest the iPad in) foldable like the magic keyboard, so that you can fold it and have more viewing angles like it. IDK.

For me its a bit hard to justify price since with shipping it cost 293€ while i can buy MK demo unit for 300€ and it will have russian keyboard while brydge doesn't, sure eng only is not a big deal but options would be nice

Does the screen tilt back any further than on the Magic Keyboard? It looks like it's about the same. That's one of the annoyances of the MK, you have to tilt it back to the max for it to be a usable angle in most situations.
