My Lab does the same thing, lol. The price is for an American Made product made in OHIO. And it's double walled UV stabilized plastic. You'd only get a cheaper barrel if it's not double-walled and just straight off the container from China. Plus a 55-gallon drum is not a barrel shape. I do think free shipping or somehow hiding it in the price to offer free shipping would make it more attractive.

Just my .02, i think the immersion is a lot less uncomfortable than the shower. It's a shock either way but at least there is no air circulating under the water. Just an FYI: I’m seeing some comments about the price. Keep in mind there’s a coupon code on the description (not an affiliate link!). I’ll see if I can get a better discount going, too. BTW-I started used stock tanks back in 2017. They work, yes. But they can be a pain to clean and that means you’ll unlikely to make them a consistent habit. The ice barrel is so easy to get in and out as well as clean, which means you’re more likely to actually use it regularly.

There are sauna units with more complexity and material starting at that price. Sending you a free unit expecting people to just buy it at that price point is laughable. Hopefully they have someone in their marketing or finance to reflect and get serious about the cost of this thing. Thank you Mike for the review though.
