A new visitor boardwalk is set to be built over the world-famous stromatolites at Hamelin Pool, following a $4.6 million investment by the State Government.
The new boardwalk replaces the original boardwalk that was built in 1996 and was sadly destroyed during Cyclone Seroja.
🎥Watch our Gascoyne District Manager Dr Therese Morris explain the significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Area, and how the new boardwalk will be a tourism icon - connecting visitors with the area’s unique marine biodiversity. 🪸
