Join me & my dog, Logan (the Whippet) in another journey in our series of "New Forest Walks". In this episode, we follow a circular route from Millyford Bridge (near Lyndhurst in Hampshire). Along the way we come across the "Portuguese Fireplace Memorial", the site of an old Sawmill, evidence of a first World Ward narrow gauge railway and plenty of wildlife (including deer & ponies).

I film using an AKASO V50Pro Sports Camera with an ISteady Gimbal together with a Canon SX400 IS camera.
Route: Start at car park & head North into Forest. Go over wooden bridge. Through a gate into Holmhill Inclosure following gravel track. Cross bridge over Bagshott Gutter. Turn left at Y junction & follow track downhill. Cross bridge over Highland Water. Bear left. As main track swings to right, turn left down lesser used gravel track that runs parallel to stream for 800 yrds - eventually coming to a gate. Shortly after you will meet the road & turn left which will take you back to the car park. the "Memorial" (which we looked at first on the video) will be seen on your right. The Knightwood Oak is a couple of miles away from the main walk.
