Way back in the days Bushwick was area full of craziness and drugs and some buildings were demolished... but now the area is nice and clean and a lot of restaurants and stores etc 😊

Thank you for this! This neighborhood has changed for the better. Streets were littered with trash and stores were broken down or damaged. You did not feel safe even walking outside in the daylight. The vibe was not cool at all. Of course gentrification doesn't help everyone though.

Hello Julien, all your Walks through NYC are unique and superbly made. You show the City and the People unique and real life, i mean in case of Brooklyn, in their Real Environment. I would like to thank you very much for that. But i have a small criticism: Brooklyn is very nice, but the Infrastructure appears over 100 Years old, i mean the Cables hanging allover Brooklyn. We don't have anything like that in Germany. But it is an honor for me to accompany you on your Walks through NYC. Keep up the good work and stay healthy. Wolfgang from Hamburg Germany, the Town with the World famous 'Reeperbahn', mostly British and Scandinavian Tourists like Hamburg, Beer is cheap (allover Germany) and other Things also. Respect and best regards and please excuse my English. Wolfgang Hamburg Germany

The street art is cool, the tagging on everything sucks. Guess that's part of the Bushwick artist aesthetic now, though. But the girl letting her dog take a dump on the sidewalk by the L train is definitely old-school Brooklyn! Still a big improvement over what the neighborhood looked like thirty years ago.
