I enjoyed this....both ladies shared alot of helpful info but if I ever move to Atlanta I would retire in Buckhead...I wouldn't wanna work because I want my freedom to travel anytime & stay as long as I want to without the pressure of being committed to a job

Atlanta seems like a great place for families. I’m from the suburbs of NY. Although it’s expensive here there are perks (ie suny schools excelsior scholarships ect.) But the real estate market is hard to get into because of how expensive land is out here (idk about upstate). So if your looking to build wealth more quickly it might be easier elsewhere unless you have a sizable income.

I’ve lived in both places but I’m from NY. My plan is to stay in Atlanta until I want to retire. I think it’s easier to run a business out here too. NY is too saturated with EVERYTHING you can think of and it’s expensive to rent places to run your business. I like Atlanta though no complaints. If I was to die before getting a chance to live in NY again I wouldn’t be mad at all but I’m young so hopefully that ain’t anytime soon. I do like entertainment in Atlanta better because it is centered around food. There’s more places open 24 hours that serve good food too. I think when it comes to seeing black women in New York out and about just depends on where you are. You also have to remember that NY is not a place where a lot of affluent black people go to live. In the affluent areas you will see black people but not usually together. They will either be alone or with white people (nothing wrong with that that’s just what I’ve seen). If you’re walking through Harlem or East Ny you definitely will come across a group of black women. You also have to remember many parts of NY are becoming very gentrified. So for that I like Atlanta much better because Atlanta is a hub for black millionaires or black people who want to become millionaires. Which is why when it comes to business I like it in Atlanta better. But NY is my home and that’s definitely where I want to be when I’m older. Well I say that now but still wouldn’t be surprised if I stay here forever. One thing I dislike though is anything that’s not Atlanta really is boring and country. Even place just 45 minutes away isn’t even the city anymore. I used to live in Lawrenceville it’s not that far from Atlanta but definitely ain’t the city. There’s some entertainment but once you get there it’s dead. I liked the hookah lounges there though. This was good video though I pretty much agreed with everything!

YES! I agree with you for sure! I just really think NY is just to sum it up... segregated diversity. Right now, there really isn't nothing like ATL and I think that is why people are moving here. I would definitely not sleep on the metro areas like a Lawrenceville because investment properties will go up in value VERY soon. Get a piece of the pie fast!
