Yes. It does take time for the yeast to produce gas, but that doesn’t negate the possibility that if it ferments under pressure it will expand when that pressure is released. Both the pressure and the lift can be true.

After 20+ years they make their shopping lists before I go. Authentic Cuban Bread is the most requested , it is unique. New York Cheesecake with shortbread crust from taste of home is the same recipe as mine except for lemon zest and juice. It is the best plain or with fruit topping. I like it plain the best!

The big beef ribs are fairly common in Texas. Black's is one of the best places to have them.

That very pink prime rib is a perfect medium rare. The trick is to cook it at 500F for weight of meat (in pounds/lbs.) and multiply by 5 to get the time. Then, once it's finished, do not open the door of the oven for 2 hours! Let it sit in the hot oven to continue cooking. Chef John's recipe cooks perfect prime rib/rib roast to a medium-rare that looks like that every time. Now, I'm hungry...

I really love the reactions you guys have for all the food. I recently found the channel and have to say I'm hooked on watching and just got my family tree coffee mug yesterday and love it. I do have a question have you done a video on all your favorite New Zealand snacks and food. Would really like to see some of your guy's favorite from there.

There are recipes to make frozen custard online. The difference between ice cream and frozen custard is that you put eggs into frozen custard and not ice cream. It's what gives the custard the creamy texture and rich flavor. The recipe I looked at with the highest rating, says it takes 24 hours to make, so you would have to do it when you guys have a lot of time on your hands. It also looks like you would need to purchase an ice cream machine as well.

Frozen custard is a marketing invention. There is no hard line separating frozen custard from ice cream. In reality, frozen custard is just a subtype of ice cream. While cheap, mass produced ice cream often does not contain eggs, many premium ice creams have contained eggs and been made from a custard base since long before someone decided to market this as something different from and better than ice cream.

I HAVE had ostrich eggs, and it fed my self and my 3 boys, long ago! Made an omelette and one egg was all I needed...huge. VERY rich tasting, much like duck eggs taste different than chicken eggs by richness. Just a much denser egg. Other than that, it's an egg. A rich egg. Also tried bison once..a bison burger. Very lean...like a super lean beef, but sweeter in a way.

The most restaurants where you will find a beef ribs at are in Texas where beef is King. One beef rib and 2 sides will fill you up for hours.

O.M.G!!!! 1 Minute in and I see ROCKLAND BAKERY!!! I grew up in Nanuet, NY so of course I 100% agree with this! They do both retail and wholesale, so you can walk into the back and they have conveyors of fresh hot rolls and bagels and you just pick what you want. (The brown ones weren't chocolate but probably pumpernickel) One of the highlights of my childhood was my best friends Mom used to take us to Rockland Bakery and we'd each get a fresh kaiser roll for the ride home. They also have AMAZING cheesecake and black & white cookies out front. Ack my childhood is in one of your food videos 🥰
