I had an really cool anole that could turn blue. He was so tame, Id put my hand near him and he'd just jump on. I used to let him climb a small peach tree in my backyard and he always came back to my hand. He would chill on my shoulder too. Best pet i ever owned. Rip lil buddy.

i live in florida and only see 1 green ankle for every 700 brown anoles it’s so rare but they’re so beautiful and gorgeous bright like color.

I have a brown anole and she’s just all violence 😂 she came to Canada in a shipment of plants from florida so I have an enclosure for her. She hates me and takes every opportunity to run away. She’s escaped once.

Okay! Help! I saved a newly hatched baby Anole from my back yard (I live in TX)….he was actually in my hair! So tiny and I have no idea how to feed it or what to feed it. Varying opinions online. Any tips??

I need to get into the common green anole selling bussiness cause where I live there is no shortage of free wild anoles and other cool looking little lizards running around I mean I have hundreds and hundreds inmy yard of ablut 10 different species if tiny anoles and lizards. I saw them for sale at our pet stores I town and thinking why would anyone buy one when you can catch a wild one for free and have unlimited amount so when it dies of old age just cat h a new one and your kids wont ever knkw it died

I once saved a green one from a park. It was the kind of park where a ton of little kids are and it was obvious that they were terrorizing the poor thing. I brought it home and released it outside my house

Hey! 🦎 When I had a green anole it would eat every other day. I fed it flightless fruit flies dusted with calcium powder. Both of those items are available at pet stores. I hope this helps! 🙂

@@youknoweverything7643not everyone lives in places with wild anoles dude. Also catching wild animals is a risk if you have other pets because they can have parasites and diseases.

I live in Eastern NC & they are everywhere in my area. I have to clear them off of my screened-in porch so my cats can go out on it without catching one. I love anoles!

Ikr I have about 10 dofferent species of anoles and lizards in my yard here on the gulf coast of alabama and sonce i was a kid I have now noticed new species of lizards and anoles making there way up here from southerb Florida where you live. And actually one of the little areas in a bayou here there has been sightngs of 6 different large reptiles like iguanas and monitor lizards that ppl either got out from a hurricane or a breeder or owner couldnt take care of em and let them go cause its jsut in that one tiny little area they are

I love em I have thousands inmy yard it seems like all summer long and they doa great job at mosquito and bug control I have never had a single bug problem in my house or a mouse or rat getting in thabks to the snakes and anoles in my yard I love them. We use to habg them as little lizard earings as kids lol. I live on the gulf coast of alabama and they are everywhere down here in the south all the way up to Tennessee
