Oh so close. The cam worked exactly the way I wanted. I had radius the switch lever slightly for smooth action in both directions. Then the new Smoke housing got a clean up and fitted with a new fan plate. It required clean up too. Then the smoke housing was not designed with the Royal Blue bolt holes so I had to drill the RB pattern in the housing. I inserted 2x56 threaded inserts. Then fabmn blade test and adjust for silent operation. On the the smoke lid. While the assembly was out I wanted to verify everything. As I completed the reassembly the fan wiring lug broke off. Had to replace the motor refit and test. OK now back on to the engine. Then checking the lid solder joints I saw the Thermistor didn't look right. I tried to touch up the solder and it just fell out. I cleaned the holes and installed a new thermistor and soldering it in nice. Then I was able to apply power to everything. I had a volt meter on the heater was was see in no 6.5V great. The fan was not running at all. I tested the P&C switch by hand the fan took off. So I loosen the screws adjusted it and tightened it up. Tested the pulse with a light and it was flickering as expected. I plugged ecmverything back together but no fan pulse, no Puff of smoke. I jumped the bench power again and smoke billowed out. Then the call for dinner rang out. Days over and so close. Ugh!
