I love this! I like the look in these talking head videos and always wondered about the set up. I want to up my game for client Zoom meetings this off season as well as pre-recorded videos for clients as well.

Great video! Do you set the cameras on eye focus detection mode or do you pre-focus to a general area, or how do you handle this? I also notice that you don't use any video monitors and you can't really tell if you are recording since you don't have a red button confirming that on the cameras since only the z30 has that feature. Any thoughts on this? Thanks so much!

Great questions. I use small area AF. heres what I usually do. I center the box and camera. and adjust the box directly on the face. The Z camera do an excellent job not jittering or hunting for focus. I can use eye AF but I choose not to. you get more recording time not using it. As far as seeing yourself. no monitors are used. I look at the lens and kind of guess where to be. Also I do a test and adjustment before the actual take. I know i can makje my life easier with monitors and eye AF . I say, if its working for me then let me be. hehe, as far as time limits, the Z9 does not have a limit but the other camera do. I know I have 30 min until it stops, so what I do is, My Zoom recorder has a timer on it, I glance over sometimes while I talk . hehe. Hope this helps. Maybe on a future video I will really go into detail about some of these things. good topic, thanks Marco.

Never really shot video with a mic on my camera. But could you connect the mic on your desk to your camera A and avoid the sync later?
