September is synonymous with big steam in Ohio. It seemed the last weekend of the month was an incredible time to be a railfan, with Union Pacific 4014 on the move, Norfolk & Western 611 running on Strasburg, DRGW 168 on test runs, steam returning to the Stewardstown line and a 425/113 Doubleheader, it seemed like anything was possible. I was following my favorite, Nickel Plate Road 765 in the Cuyahoga Valley for the fifth year. This time I wanted to pull out all the stops and shot as much as I could. Sit back, crank up the volume to enjoy the sounds of Nickel Plate 765 working hard on an 18 car train, with a special guest vocal performance from Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis 576. This video is part 1 of 2, and it will be in the description and link at the end of the video. Hope you enjoy!
