Listen: For my young guys out there (18, 22, 25) I feel you. I know you're going through it. Look, your 20s are going to be the hardest years of your life. Cost of living is on the rise, you need to get educated/trained, your body needs work, your mind is lazy, and you still need basic survival skills such as knowing credit and paying your own way (rent). In addition to that, your female counter-parts are probably making more money than you (bartending/onlyfans/sugar daddies) and they're dating older men with higher status. Most women don't even look your way. But here's the thing... It gets better. Look, when I was 18 I was short, skinny, egotistical, entitled, angry, depressed, and I generally hated everything as it all seemed unfair. At the time, the only thing I wanted to do with my life was to get in shape because I was tried of being so skinny (I wanted to be like Vegeta lol). So, I got in the gym and started to figure it out and I learned to put on muscle. As I spent my lonely first months in the gym, I started noticing that my mind was starting to focus more and that my confidence was going up (slightly). As this took place I started to feel the sense that I needed to learn more. My craving for knowledge grew as I was getting success in the gym. So I started talking to older people for advice, I searched youtube for informational content. I started to get my mind right. As I went down this path the depression got lighter, I started to become optimistic for the first time. As I got some gains, I noticed that the hood rats were starting to like me. They weren't the chicks I want, but hey, a mans got needs so I did what I had to do. From there, I decided I'd go to college and I ended up graduating as I stayed on my grind in the gym and with books. From there, I got a job, and then promoted. Then I got a better job. Then promoted. And then an even BETTER JOB. By the time I looked up I was 28 years old and making over 70k a year. When that happened, I started to realized how much all my work had compounded. I was in the best shape of my life, I was optimistic, my confidence grew from experience, I was educated, my mind felt sharp, my spirit was full, and I learned women nature. With all this experience compounding, It was about at this time when I started to date hotter women. Most became 7.5+ and even some dimes. It was crazy for me to even look in the mirror because I realized I was now the guy the hot 22-year old college chick was dating (and I felt bad for my bros at 22 who probably really wanted her lol). Because all so unreal. Now at this point (31 years old), I pretty much live how I want and do what I want. I make good money, I got a purpose, I started my KZitem channel to share all of my advice on leveling up, I travel, and I date hotties. You see, back then I would have traded places with any of the athletes from my high school. I hated myself. But now I look at them (after 10 years of being out of high school), and most are overweight. Have basic jobs. And most have multiple baby mommas. And the hot females from my high school? Lets just say they got it even worse. If you ask me now if I would trade places with anyone... The answer would be a giant " F*** NO". So what am I saying? I'm saying that at 18-25 it all seems so hopeless and crappy. You think this time period is going to be your life FOREVER. But no bro, no it's not. It's going to get better. You need to have the mindset that you can Glow up and you WILL. Life will happen, luck will happen, good things will be given to you by the grace of God that you never thought possible. So keep on grinding. I know it sucks, but one day you'll look up and see that you're achieving everything you wanted when you were younger. You'll become the man you want to be. You got this. Your time will come. Remember that a man's prime is around the age of 35. Put in the work. Get .01% better each day. You'll make it. Lay go.

Perfect example is Tyler Perry. I remember people wouldn't support his plays. Ladies were asking if he was suspect. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't want to work hard.

Why does it matter dude? Are those high quality women? Nah, man! I mean you gotta have ambition, you gotta have a life but if women only see what you have, and they can't see who you are as a person, it's not worthy man! Because they are not high quality women. They don't have nothing to offer... You gotta live the life of your dreams only based on your terms, but not all women are worthy to date, so it doesn't matter if they throw themselves to you... because you gotta give it time for connection, for friendship, for compatibility, for romance you gotta know who they are... Focus on the quality of women! It takes time and it is a process, Don't sell yourself too short with women!

This video came out a couple days after my 24th birthday and I feel it couldn't have dropped at a better time. Everything spoken here is 100% the truth and I can relate to it in every way. Growing up I was below average, not many friends in high school let alone any attention from girls. Since I had a lot of free time due to not going out much those years I started trying out new things, mainly music. I was lucky enough to get in touch with some more experienced people in the field (and not due to connections, simply reaching out) and from there I got started. Shortly after I managed to get my first girlfriend and unfortunately I got too comfortable. 4 years later and she breaks up with me for understandable reasons. I got fat, slacked off on my goals, started becoming more of a pushover because I didn't have much value, and developed a negative attitude towards life. To put it shortly I was in the worst position of my life. That was about a year ago, around the time I discovered this channel as well as others that deal with men's self-improvement. Since the moment I decided to put my future in my own hands I was able to get my music career to a level I hadn't thought possible. Working with the composers on my favorite TV shows and video games, having my music in movies and video games, and now I'm working on an entire project with one of the biggest artists this decade. Not only that but I obtained the confidence to finally start a KZitem channel with a partner. That channel just passed 200k subscribers. Now I wake up everyday happier than I could've ever imagined. In the best shape of my life, found a solid group of friends, moved into a lovely home, being able to financially provide for my parents, and of course women are the ones that come to me now with no flaky behavior of any sort. To summarize this, I want to thank Hafeez and the entire Roommates channel for giving me that starting guideline to becoming a better and more fulfilled man. And to anyone who feels down or unsure of what the future holds, you're going to be just fine. Actually, way above just fine. Just put your head down and get to work, your entirely life can change within the span of a year. Much love!

Amen brother, I was the same at a young age. I never had mentors, I hated high school even playing high school football . No one was interested in me so I joined the Navy out of highschool, went through a grind , seen the world and came home and people forgot me. I went to school , used my GI BILL and grinded my way up , worked and studied, and fast forward to today- I got an amazing career, I looked for mentors who seen the good in me and it has all paid off. I graduated college, making great $$$, my career is locked in and when people see me now they see it and say it, wow you have made it. I know my value, and I share my knowledge and wisdom with those who can use a mentor or hear something they need to hear. Put in the work, become the best version of yourself and never settle, never try to win others approval, lets your actions and growth attract the right people.

I salute you Hafeez. Keeping It Up Brother. Cats don't realize that time waits for no man but you can put time to work for you in your favor. When you said 2012 that helped me remember, that was 8 years ago. Once you get a certain age 8 years is not so long compared to the journey. Still a long time for some things but not forever. In 2012 my first child was only 2 and I was still working 2 jobs, one of which would eventually turn into a business partnership that I shed in favor of bigger aspirations....7 years later. Looking for the next mountain to climb. Brothers, I made the mistake of not making certain moves because of impatience. But the longer you wait to start the marathon, the longer it will take later on. On the other hand, the longer you've been in the game, the more you can leverage other people's knowledge (and mistakes!!!)and refine your own. Don't let time discourage you, it will work in your favor as time goes by. You inspire me Sir keep pushing!

This video is bang on. You really have to believe in yourself when nobody else does. My 'friends' used to laugh at my KZitem videos, laugh at me trying to make music, laugh at me streaming on Twitch. They never understood why I would refuse the opportunity to go to the pub with them sometimes, when I wanted to go gym or make a video. People will just use you for their convenience and you have to want better for yourself. Don't live your life for others, live and work for your own benefit. This year was the year I left my childhood school friends, left the group chat, stopped going out and really began to focus on myself. It feels like the best decision I've ever made, mentally life is so much better. I've got a massive amount of work ahead of me to get to where I want to be in life and I put a lot of pressure on myself because I know what I am capable of achieving. It is KZitem channels like this, it's following people who inspire me on social media, starting to read books about people who have been successful that now carries me forward. At the age of 18, I made a video on my KZitem channel saying I would be a millionaire by the age of 25 which I fully believed at the time. I am now 21 and that still is a goal which means I have some big years ahead. I'm not as focused on earning a million but I want to be able to earn a sustainable amount of income from doing the things I love. People may not check for you now, people may not know your name but one day they will! Thanks for the content, wish everyone the best in terms of achieving their dreams. We got to keep working🙏🏾

I turned 25 last month. I have two government projects and multiple potential businesses I’m working on for my corporation. I don’t even have time to text women. So fulfilled with my work right now. PS 8 months ago I was a customer service agent for a sports betting company, I’m now a senior business investment executive for one of the largest Japanese conglomerates. Indeed hardwork and determination pays off🙏🏽 bless up Youngkings

I have a similar story brother. This resonates with me very much. I was a skinny little asian boy who got zero respect for maybe the first 24 years of my life. I was never good at ANYTHING. But I kept working at my craft and passions, knowing that it would be for the long haul. Finally really started to see the fruits of my labour maybe within the past 2 years. Got a great job in tech marketing with lots of flexibility, starting a business on the side, national muay thai silver medalist, lots of boxing wins under my belt. In a sense I'm glad I only saw results later in my life, because if I had been attracting girls in my early 20s, I definitely would have been too attached to the first girl who was into me cause I was blue-pilled until maybe 3 years ago. So grateful that I see things through a red-pilled lense now. I now prioritize my goals before everything else. And now I feel sorry for my friends who had a tremendous amount of potential, lock down an LTR so early in their life.
