Actually the east and south would be interesting to get to know as well. Ups and downs of living there. Heard that up east there's a lot of very wealthy people living more secluded than in developments in the west such as black river. Is that accurate?

Correct also many old beach bungalows on the East

Thank you, a nice add to this would be a clip of the suburbs, beaches, malls, traffic of the west, high street or fresh markets. I have spent a lot of time in the north but we will be moving to the west so very keen to "see" what the area looks like. Stand alone homes along suburban roads or town house complexes for example?

Hi from Cape Town!!! Thanks for great videos which help with withdrawal symptoms while we can't travel to our favourite place! Hope to return for our 9th holiday next year. Any updates on the clean up operations and sea quality after the oil spill down south would be of great interest.

Thanks for a great video since im planning to relocate to Mauritius from Sweden. Im considering Perebeyre, Tamarin, Albion, Flic en Flac, so very useful. Even considering the plateau, but my companion wants to live at the beach, which it probably will be then:)

I have some questions that I'd like movies shot on. So when I lived over there I found it boring. There's only so many days that you can go swimming and walking on the beach until you want to go out and get a job. How about some reviews on the best areas to live to find work and what kind of work to get. Like for instance, I lived in Trou d'eau douce and found it isolating and then went on to work in Rose Hill but found the bus to work very bumpy and the journey very long and I found it almost impossible to get a job interview

In that case stay where u are.lol Bus bumpy..long journey.. U need to stay near ur wrk place to avoid bumpy and long journey. Here in mauritius people do travel from north to centre of the island.or from east to west to go for job. Its useless to complain if u hve do work for ur living
