Nice sketch. What I like about it is how it tranposes politics to an non-political realm-dining, restaurants. We see a varied menu of ethnic revolutionary left wing peoples-Russian, Chinese, Arab-and the patrons are calmly talking as if this a normal everyday thing-which it is in some parts of the world.

Ian Hislop can be quite persistent in giving guests whose careers he doesn't approve of a hard time, like the time Alistaire(sp?) Campbell was host and Ian kept implying Tony Blair was a war criminal, and it got so bad Campbell played the bagpipes at him

I'm not sure of the Soviet Commissar's hats name but the Russian Hat you commonly see worn by the military and police is an ushanka (not sure how it's spelt )

@@kieronbrewster5345 The Astrakhan is typically worn in Canada. It’s also wedge shaped whereas this hat 1:14 is an oval cylinder. It’s more like a karakul as favoured by Leonid Brezhnev.

@@kjamison5951 Astrakhan is just another name for any thick woollen hat in the majority of the world, particularly those made from the pelt of the karakul sheep.
