The best player I ever seen at Notre Dame is Bryant Young. I'm 57 years old. The second best was Joe Montana. The third best was Ross browner. Fourth is Rocket. Number five is Chris Zorich. But what's so great about Bryant Young being my number one, is I think his son could be better. This team is starting to remind me a lot of the 86-87 team. Building up talent. Good time to be an ND fan 🍀🍀🍀🏆

My most memorable play was the Morrison pick 6 vs Clemson was right in front of us. I remember everyone standing on the bleachers and just seeing him running down the side line.

I am the only guy not completely sold on Leonard, but his chronic leg injuries have me more than a little concerned with an offense where the QB runs a lot. Let's just say it's a very good thing that the other QBs got lots of reps this spring.

ND last had a national championship in 1988? 36 years ago. That is ridiculous. It appears the Board of Trustees has finally taken the initiative to make ND great again.

More about the coach putting in the effort to recruit. Weis did have a few elite classes, but didn’t care about Defense and it cost him his job

The father's and SwarPrick held us back by not giving us enough money for facilities and contracts for off. and def. coordinators. Now that Pete Bevacqua is in charge hopefully things will change. I still don't think we have a great head coach and folks come at me for that but he hasn't done anything worth a damn and has made so many horrible time management errors and also the 12 man penalties they have given up in big time moments is atrocious. Pete had to be the one to get Freeman to put the WR Faison on the damn field. No one was even lookin at the kid until he said something. So Freeman has a ways to go and I just do think he will get there while at ND.

Weiss... F Me... Still giving downers decades later... Thanks for reminding us all Tyler 🙄😆 Most exciting player I ever saw (remember, I'm old!) WAS the Rocket, when I was still a student there. I was in the stadium and can still remember Lou running his skinny ass down the sideline in his (always) too short, casual, like twill slacks, screaming at Ragib the whole time, like Nicholson in 'A Few Good Men' so that he could make SURE the Rocket ran out of bounds at the 5 yard line THAT time... (it was like the third or fourth time in the game he was racing alone down the sideline with the ball). Nice show, and great to have a rational conversation with someone who isn't a hater OR a lover. Great guest and show as always... !

The roster is talent due to CMF focus on measurables, speed, and development. I'm excited to see the roster when BK players are gone...unless they buy into CMF coaching style. Plus, CMF teaches a physical brand of football. We one QB away. Waiting on Deuce Knight!

I had an incling when AD & president left the same time that ND was maneuvering towards putting football operations first. The donors are getting impatient and intolerant of where their football money was being spent.

No doubt that there is a lot of talent on this team. Exciting stuff. But, the coaching must be top notch as there are some serious unanswered questions. Who’s the QB? Ideally it’s a healthy Leonard, but that is not guaranteed. How is this o line going to perform? We cannot have a repeat of 2021. Is Morrison going to be 100% healthy this season? This defense is built from the secondary to the front. Morrison is the best player on the team. We need him if we are going to have a top 10 or top 5 D. Finally, are we going to get some sacks? If the coaching can hit on most of these items, ND should absolutely make the playoff and really should run the table in the regular season.

Wow... PS said CJ Carr is better than Everett Golson. The main reason why ND went to the title game is because of EG, even with poor offensive coaching. In the title game, EG and the TE were the only players not afraid of Alabama....it's hard to accept journalists like PS opinion...trash!

@@xandercrews4729 100%. The D got them there for the most part, but was banged up physically (Nix, Lewis-Moore) and psychologically (Teo). It didn't go well, .. to say the least ... in the NC. I expect Carr will absolutely be better than Golson.

@xandercrews4729 The defense was soft and overhyped. They went to the wire in each game against lower ranked teams. Then, got exposed and dominated against Alabama.
