Thanks for your video, I followed your instructions, ( My steering wheel was really stuck onto the spline I had to make a wheel puller from steel bar with holes 55mm apart using 2 M8 bolts to spring it loose ) Unfortunately like yours the airbag and the ABS lights are still on...... Other steering wheel controls are now working.

I know this is a little while on now; but for anyone doing this and still having the SRS airbag light on, it is entirely likely the fault code needs to be cleared with a OBDII diagnostic tool to reset the light. A lot of modern cars won't reset the engine light or airbag light unless it is reset. This is probably common knowledge for a lot of you, but handy for anyone who didn't know :)

Where was the connector pin?I have just replaced mine and the light is still on.

After replacing failed to work I took it too mitsubishi they charged 70 bucks to fix it. I surmised they looked at the car side of the connector to the clock spring and pushed the pin back into place

Had this done today by "Bits-are-missing" (Mitsubishi) and it was $650 for genuine part and labor.

Bloody hell they ripped you off. I got one off eBay for $26 and put it in in less then 30 mins.
