For anyone in the future looking, when I did my full a month ago, the guy told me that the entire point of the hazard identification isn't necessarkily to know all the hazards on the road, it's more to test that you are able to communicate with your passenger while still following all the road rules.
@Toni-vo3bi

Unpopular opinion but i don’t take the instructor as “being rude” just straight up. If your driving crap he’ll say it then which I can appreciate so you can fix it, rather then some instructors who tell you at the very end and still fail you. His feedback about driving confidence and slow sleep was valid, because both are accident causing. At full license you should be able to do all these things without a doubt and even with the “interruptions” of an instructor because real life situations will entail all of these, maybe more.

Do not try to take any full driving test at Mt Wellington. I fall twice at this VTNZ.There is a Chinese test officer who has Cantonese accent, called "Paul" who has strong prejudice against Chinese. Fair, but that instructor had no right to talk to him that way then say to him that he shouldn't argue with him when the poor guy barely got a word out. If he talked to me like that It would make me want to talk. That attitude would make the driver more nervous..it would certainly make me more nervous and be in disbelief. I would definitely report it back to the company he worked for. Discusting. Also the instructor is not supposed to have a full conversation with you because it is unprofessional. Asking you to do an instruction is all they should be talking about unless they ask you to pull over to talk about the test .
