Did I hear you say a 50 gallon water tank in the tongue box? If so that will be about 400 lb which seems kind of heavy for adding to the tongue weight.

Its not too bad, hauled it last summer behind the truck, pulled like a dream, felt like it wasn't there. But that was only half full mind you. Hoping the coming weeks I'll have an update on the build now that springs here!

I was thinking exactly the same thing about the tongue weight. Curious how much this thing weighs overall? Working on a "squaredrop" myself, but I'm shooting for under 1000lbs. I have a large travel trailer (33 ft.) for the family, but sometimes it's just me or the wife and I. Cool build btw!

You could have integrated snaked PVC tubing into the subflooring to spread out the weight of the water evenly across the entire length of the trailer.

This is Similar to what I’m going to build. Did you make anymore video? Finished product?

I haven't yet, finished it this summer but was too busy using it :) once the 3 feet of snow melts off I am going to show the finished version.

@@onyxpartitian What did it cost you and what did you have it made out of? Was it CNC / how was it made? I'm thinking about making my own doors, but want a face plate / not sure what to expect cost wise.

@@rogerdayton The faceplate costed around $150 Canadian as I had to buy the 3*4' of 1/8 steel plate, that includes CNC plasma service from a local. If I was to do it again, I'd buy a door, way easier to get everything to seal right, and feel right.
