So much brilliance and intelligence. Literally, one of the smartest minds out there in the polity. Now you know why the "powers that be" wouldn't let him be Lagos State Governor.

I am enjoying this so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Don't stop, break it all down for the world to see. It is timely in 2020. I have spent a lot of time in Nigeria, Lagos and Kano. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Well done and engaging. Bravo!

I just finished the documentary series on Netflix and it was quite informative. My only critique is that it focused on the role of the North, East, and West towards the creation of Nigeria and largely left out the south. Benin, Jaja of Opobo, and Port Harcourt were mentioned briefly, but actually deserve their own episode within the documentary as well. Why did Benin have to fall before uniting the south with Lagos (West)? Why is there no railway in Benin or the south? What was happening in Benin and the south during the Aba, Enugu, & women riots? I guess the British really succeeded till today even in how we present Nigeria as only WAZOBIA....the south is to be perceived as insignificant...

thank you, my brother, have seen this sort of documentaries several times and they don't concentrate on other tribes especially the Ijaws. Not surprised at all. We need to tell our own story.

@@ebukandehigwo2278 You just made my point. He talks about the big moments that defined Nigeria as independence & slave trade that has led to Tourism in Senegal & Ghana, but not Nigeria that had the highest slave trade through the Bright of Benin. So the biggest moments of Nigeria is been ignored by WAZOBIA because it will not bring economic & political power to them, but others are exploiting what Nigeria continuous to ignore strategically in the 2021. Has the British not enabled WAZOBIA to hinder Nigerian progress, even from an intellectual perspective?

14:19 "..We're not investing it's identity" How can we accomplish this when we stick to the identity given to us by our colonizers? (Nigeria) 21:30 "There is no country in the world that is not a geographical expression" 21:43 "All countries are artificial" Lol, but the French, Portuguese, and English have their distinctive language and system of government. What is the language of Nigeria? Sir, I really commend your documentary as it gave me more knowledge of my true Identity. However, what distinguish us is its understanding.

Tafawa Balewa on the eve of independence said " please don't expect much from us " The PM must have known that Nigeria 🇳🇬 was an illusion... since there was no real unity among the people. Otherwise how does one explain that barely 7 years after that hysterical celebration ofindependence, the country lapsed into a fratricidal Civil War.

Nigeria can not be described in the same way as the English Scotland or Wales, in the sense of Nigeria being a mere geographical is right. Nigeria comprises different ethnic groups bunch together by the colonials.
