This is just so much ear and eye candy. I'm listening and watching you play for hours at a time and just floating away. I'm no musician and I've only ever been mildly into the blues before but I've never heard it played like this before excepting Ry Cooder's Paris Texas soundtrack and a band Calexico I'd listen to sometimes. Your style has so much space in it and I'm falling way deep into something velvety and infinite. I don't know where I've been not to have found this before but I feel it in a way I don't feel anything else and it's just a revelation. I had ideas about the blues that were just plain wrongheaded. Whoda thunk getting so down low could bring such highs. My absolute favourites of yours are the ones you pull from the deep dark swamp - maybe because it reminds me of our Australian mangroves and of past days in the sun. Thank you so much for being you!
