It's nice to see these old classic planes flying again. I'm flying for 54 years.

Absolutely fantastic! I very much enjoy your channel and it's awesome to see a family keeping old-school flying alive. Even though I mainly fly giant scale warbirds and turbine Jets I always find time to fly my classic glow sport planes

I have a Falcon MkIII with OS40 I built in the eighties, never crashed, last flown in 2010. After a 14 year hiatus, I hope to get it in the air this weekend. I bought gallon of fuel, new fuel pump and 12V battery, new receiver battery and a smart charger. Got a new radio coming too. Can't believe all the companies and products that have disappeared in the last 12 to 15 years. Thinking about converting my Little Stik to electric

These type of models are the most fun and fly great , most people at clubs today don’t understand the great feel of building and flying, better than getting a colorful toy box in the mail and plugging in a battery

I’m almost finished with my 56, and found it to be quite an enjoyable kit. I would recommend it to anyone. The built up tips are easy once you start sanding. They just flow. MBRC, love your videos! Hope to see more in the future.

Nice. I have the SH .37 nitro with a Pitts muffler that i built a sig 1/6 scale cub around. Heavy plane. 5.6 pounds. Pulls the plane along well. About the right ammount of power. Probably makes around the power of an FP40 and runs reliably. Really well built on the inside!

@@mbmrc5241 hasn’t had an engine in it for many years, was up in an attic. But I must say I’m a big fan of Saito an OS four stroke engines. My current favourite for 40 size aircraft is the Saito 82. I’m currently scratch building an over sized ultimate Kaos and will be putting an OS 120 four stroke in it. Have not delved into gasoline engines yet just Nitro glow and Electrics.

@@RC-Flight That's true, as a I also have an ASP 61 fourstroke in a Great Planes Cherokee. I have a Saito 62 in my Seagull Spacewalker, one also in my Seagull Boomerang trainer and the 3rd one is in my Kyosho Macchi m33 50 boat plane which has a fibreglass Hull and built up balsa and ply wings. The Saito 62 flys it well off the water. They are great engines.

You can wrap the bands from side to side to secure the long bands. Or just add mounting blocks and screw it on. They're good flying planes either way.

The Falcon was my first rc model. I learned to fly with that plane and I flew the crap out of it until it was falling apart. I'd like to get one of these OSMW but not sure I can get one shipped to Canada. It would be really great if a .61 size engine was available in the gas conversion.

Could you put a link to the website to purchase those engines in the description?
How much weight did you add to the tail? I see something that looks like a lead weight in the rear of the tail. Where did the CG end up at from the leading edge? You didn't show the starting process of this engine, can it be started by hand easily or is it necessary to use a starter on it? I think I might go electric on this though as I don't really need the extra flight time on this particular model. Putting in my order for the kit. I have a nice custom color scheme all finalized and ready to cut out.
