I'm from Seoul and I lived in PIs for 10 years as a child. My American uncle who worked for the state dept and his family were there for a few years at the same time. He's German and he was a communications specialist for the embassies in Seoul, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Manila, Kinshasa etc...and the rep office in 70s Beijing. I went to an international school that started as the American school with kids from more than 50 countries, all from the free world except refugee high class from Indochina and mainland China. The curriculum was US prep and Euro UK IB. My uncle took me on a vip tour of the Nimitz or Enterprise with his son. This was before The Final Countdown. I bought many toys and sporting goods and had many fabulous epicurean experiences at Clark and Subic. I also used to play sports against the base teams in high school. In a word, I am the biggest fan.

Bob Sit I am a lot older than you. My dad whom I knew my life had adopted me when I arrived in the West Coast, California, USA 🇺🇸 when I was a teenager coming from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭 where I was born and grew up. My great Aunt and I would take the bus from Manila to Olongapo City and back to visit my mom and the dad I knew. He was a young sailor and retired from the US Navy as a Master Chief. He was stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Cubi Point, (Subic Bay). My younger sister than me was born in Subic Bay. I remembered Olongapo City as a little girl played with the kids. Walked to Public Market which was a walking distance from the place where my parents were renting. The owner of the house had few units to rent out below their beautiful house. The owner and her family are also here in the same City where I came. This is the City I live since I left Manila. Mom would go picnic at this beautiful beach that would take us down to the sand then the beach. They were there for few years. Then they were stationed at NAS Sangley Point Cavite, 🇵🇭 Philippines. My other younger sister was born there. Little that I knew I worked as Federal Civil Service employee at NAS/NAVAIR, Weapons Division, US Navy, (DoD/DoN) and I am a retiree. Here I came to the States did not know anything about America. This country gave me so much opportunities in my life. I miss Philippines 🇵🇭 and my family. Now and then I watch video of Subic Bay and Olongapo City. Thank you for sharing. It brought back good memories. ‘The beautiful uniforms our Military Armed Forces wear are very proud to wear on. I saw that in my career. God Bless you. ✋💜🌞🌹🇺🇸🇵🇭🙏. Today’s date is June 2, 2020 from the West Coast, California, USA 🇺🇸, julia a.

Thankyou Carl for your service. My wife is from the Philippines and I agree with what you said about the Philippine woman there's no need to talk like that

Great video. The girls weren’t very attractive but I love the old school feeling of the PI. Plus all that hair and I’m not talking about their head 🤗

Hey Don , I was there in 75 and 76 and I loved the monkey meat. I just could not get use to monkey paws on a stick. And it took me 45 years to get up the nerve to eat balut. No bad. Have not seen Olongapo City in so long. Maybe on my next trip there.

1:26 at the restaurant 168, that chick was an employee who was all business. Try to sweet talk her and you will get your feeling hurt. Same with the women at 1:40. I took a picture with the chick standing up. The on sitting down was name Gina and she was old school. I hope all of them blessing and a great life.
