I used to come to Huatulco with my family every year for winter break. stopped cause of COVID-19 but went back again in 2021. I love it there. It never rains (at least never while I have been there) and it is always like 30-50 degrees. Super hot and sunny. Oaxacan cheese is actually the greatest.

We watched this yesterday as we were learning more about where we now live and saw the Dona Maria taco review. It's by the PEMEX at Chedraui. She's there every day. We stopped with another couple after a visit to Playa Violin...we were hungry! The food was excellent. Between the 4 of us we ate 10 tacos and 4 large augua de something that was really good (it has a bunch of little seeds). The bill was 205 pesos$9.84 US) plus a tip! We tried the barbacoa de rey, enchilada de rey and the chili relleno. We were hoping for the shrimp tacos reviewed here but she did not have any seafood today. Highly recommend. She said she is there at 8 am Monday through Saturday. We were there about 2 pm.

Heading to Grillo Marinero tonight for the campechana (sp?). Looking forward to it. Funny thing was that last night we went to a local taqueria on a recommendation from a local. I was saying to my wife that we needed to find Marinero. We were on the second floor of that restaurant, and I looked across the street and there it was. Easy to recognize with the palapa roof and the art on the walls on the street side. Thanks for the review, I’ll let you know how we liked it. Muchos gracias.

Tenga en cuenta que la educación en México, está en todo nivel económico, así que las personas que ofrecen sus productos, agradecen su compra, pero se duplica el agradecimiento o la atención de decir “Gracias”.

The shrimp held together in egg - that was a cool and tasty looking way of serving them in a taco. Was wondering at first how it was a giant shrimp fillet.

Excuse us but we live in Huatulco and they do NOT put hot sauce on everything! Ceviche is not cooked! It is soaked in a marinade of lime juice and vinegar overnight! So we guess you could say it was cooked because the lime juice and the vinegar Cooks it! Where you're sitting under the palapa is on a beach that we've been to many times and we've eaten in that restaurant quite a bit as well! Enjoy!
