The dog leave when you sing, the mics keep on working ! I think Behringer improved the quality drastic in the last 10 years. Just great !

When using stereo mics, you need to use a set-up that prevents phase issues. Sitting between the mics spaced apart in this way, with a moving sound source ( ie: you ), creates phase problems as the distance between each mic alters as you move about. Those phase issues will be even more obvious if you are listening back on a mono source. Try an X-Y, or ORTF arrangement for the mics instead. It will make your recordings much more natural

Sometimes a bit of phasing sounds nice.
@KevinWale

XY or ORTF isn't necessarily more natural, or better. Distant stereo is fine too. Depending on the nature of phasing, it can actually be what sounds more natural, because we hear phasing all the time in the real world. As long as it isn't getting the point of 30 degrees or something like that, or 90 to where the polarity needs flipped, phasing isn't defacto bad. It just depends on what you're going for. But, to test as he is, it tells us what we need to know about those mics.

I love those little mics. I have a pair of the B5s also from Behringer. They are actually a bit better, and not much more expensive. You'll get a lot of performance from the C2s though. Fine little clean and responsive mics!

Do you have your DAW set so that your recording both mics into one track that is set as a stereo track, or are you recording with two mono tracks that you panned left and right?

I've had a pair of condenser for years..mxl603 i think they are..i record one facing the sound soundhole and one on an angle pointed at the 13th fret..both about 12 inches away..you get a pretty good result..i paid $300 plus from memory..sound similar to these. At this price can afford to buy em and see I guess..not going to break the bank finding out

A bad sounding not dry enought room is a major hassle recording a flute not the mike. Most of the brands will pickup a good sound in good conditions. So a good sounding room(not a Cathedral), a good preamp or Interface and a little bit postproduction will bring you the best performance, So you can buy the C-2 for recording a flute.
