We are moving onwards and upwards! In this video we build a set of temporary stairs and begin work framing the back wall of our off grid house. As always, we try to include the whole family in building. It might take a bit longer and a bit of patience, but we know it will pay off in the long run.
Justin gets to try out some new tools: a Dewalt 20V max, 7-1/4" full size circular saw, and a Bosch digital laser measure tape.
We make some last minute changes to the house floor plan: shrink the laundry room to make space for homeschooling supplies and kid activities in the dining room. As a growing homeschooling family, storage is essential!
We get the hang of laying out wall studs and framing out the windows for the kids' bedrooms.
We are excited to get back to work on the off grid house build. Onwards and upwards!
