Oothappam & Chutney | ഊത്തപ്പം & ചട്ട്ണി
Oothappam /uthapam is a popular south Indian breakfast which is made of ground rice and black lentils. This nutritious dish is served with chutney and Sambar. Unlike Dosa which are thin, uthppam is thick and spongy with onion or any preferred topping.
In this video I'm sharing the recipe for onion uthappam, onion podi oothappam and a good chutney!

Chutney

Oil 2 tbsp
Garlic 11
Shallots 15
Dry chilli 2 gundu chili
Kashmiri chili 4-5
Ginger 1 small piece
Tomato 2 big
Jaggery powder 1 tsp
Salt 3/4 tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
For Tempering:
Oil 2 tsp
Mustaed seeds 1/4 tsp
Black gram 1/4 tsp
Dry chilli 2
Curry leaves few

Onion 2 bid chopped
Green chilli
Coriander leaves
