I'd do most things for enough money. I COULD NOT do that for any amount. There's no doubt in my mind that I would fall and die. Or just completely freeze up in terror, at least until my muscles gave out, then I would fall and die. Oh and I looked it up: 11 seconds before you hit the ground if you fell from the top. That's so many seconds.

I'm a line electrician and I do this kind of stuff occasionally (though I've never climbed a tower this high). The pay isn't really any different from what a normal electrician makes, but the job security is good, because most people are scared of heights. I like it actually, just being by yourself and listening to music, or to O&A.

China dab Because of physics, aerodynamics, weather, powerful winds, etc. Its a pole standing straight up 2000ft in the air. You cant just make a pole 2000ft and hope it stays upward.

THis happened on November 22nd 2010. Do yourself a favor and listen to the full episode. They react to Tom Cruise going to the top of Burj Khalifa, A russian kid Climbing out on a thin metal piece from a thousand feet up, and a kid in a crane that dangles himself down and does pull ups. Earlier in the episode they make fun of this hippie chick that fell from a tree house and make fun of the song alices restaurant. It was a hilarious episode, one of the few ones thats funny all the way through

At least you had a parachute, and I'm assuming a backup chute too, as bad as government issue stuff can be at least they give you somewhat of a fighting chance, this on the other hand? One wrong move and you're finished. I'm a complete coward with heights and even I would parachute out of a plane rather than this.
