Rene Descartes once said, "I think, therefore I am." However when I stop thinking, I still am. Therefore, I am not my thoughts.

Spent my whole child hood being what my parent wanted. Now that I’m an adult, I don’t have the comforts of wealth, but I have an inner-peace that I would not trade. Good to learn this lesson young, I’m sure, but I don’t think it’s too ever too late. I don’t think education is a waste. Just forcing people into who don’t yet know what they want out of it. Nowadays I’m constantly learning, at my own pace.

It's being indoctrinated and coerced into accepting your societies rules. Small children go into school happy and excited, ready to learn anything, they leave bored, sad and depressed. It's so easy and obvious to see it is not helpful to the individual, it is just a system to keep a society having the same hive mind.

@visartistry
3 жыл бұрын
i guess he intended something else. In buddhism, especially when you are suffering you must medidate. Suffering fuses ourselves with our minds, meditating separates ourselves from the mind. We need that separation in order to put suffering in it's place, wich is the mind. Therefore you can observe the sadness or pain, without engaging in it's suffering. When he mentions that meditation is not for the suffering, i also don't understand. I personally use meditation as detatchment from everything that is useless, such as suffering, of course i do it in a grateful state of mind, but i dont do it only to thank for being well when i am, i do it to be well, and to endure when i'm not.

Hi, Just a moment there, at the end, I heard this: "Meditation Is Not for the Suffering TIME" (not Type). I think He said "TIME" and not "TYPE" ... also because He was taking about "TIME" as in: "When you are feeling joyous, this is the TIME to come in tune with existence. This is the TIME when you can love the trees, the moon, the sky. This is the TIME you can enter into yourself very easily, with no hindrance." THEN...Meditation Is Not for the Suffering TIME" Thanks for sharing. Namaste

It's so beautiful you won't care about the buddha. You won't care about christ. You won't care about any spiritual teachings. You won't care about non-duality. You won't care about arguing with people. You will not even care about other people being real because it's just so beautiful. What you are you're so beautiful. Reality is so beautiful. Consciousness is so beautiful. Truth is so beautiful. God is so beautiful that it is it's own reward. It's an infinite reward. It's the only thing you really want.
