In the heart of Oslo, Norway's main and largest Christmas market "Jul i Vinterland" opens its gate every year! Both adults and children are welcome here, and most importantly, everyone will find entertainment to their liking!
Buy Christmas gifts and souvenirs from the colorful market stalls, drink a warm cup of glögg (the Scandinavian version of mulled wine), ride a Ferris wheel, or strap on a pair of skates and glide along the ice to cheerful music.
The Oslo Fair runs from mid-November to the end of December, every day. And we couldn’t miss this wonderful winter event and a bright adventure in every sense!
In this video, we invite you to join us in immersing yourself in the atmosphere of Christmas in the Norwegian capital, as well as admiring the views of Oslo from the Julestjernen Ferris wheel, from a height of 40 meters.
By the way, when we were on the panoramic wheel at the skating rink, a show program prepared by children from the Oslo Skøiteklub began. And when we went down we managed to watch it all the way through, this performance definitely brightened the evening!
We really hope you enjoy the video! After all, this shooting was a real challenge for us. It's always difficult to film in a crowd of people, and the market in the center of Oslo is filled with visitors and seekers of Christmas spirit on any day of the week.
And on the day of our walk, real winter weather came to the city and the thermometer showed a confident -7 degrees! The batteries of the equipment froze, and the tripod frosted. To shoot a 3-minute video, we needed to take a walk for 6 extremely cool hours! After all, we wanted to show you pieces of the Oslo fair, both during the day and in the evening!
Thank you very much for traveling with Us! Feel free to ask your questions and write your wishes in the comments, we are always pleased to read them! ;)
And if you want to support us or treat us to a cup of hot chocolate on such cold filming days, then follow this link and become a member of our channel’s club! We will be extremely grateful to you! :)
