Yes, we tried not to think of diesel heaters we should have ordered, while cocooned in all our bedding, in our caravan that had been expressly designed to shrug off the Australian heat!

Our favourite episode so far. This one had it all. Humour, drama and wonderful scenery. Hardly anyone in the campgrounds - bliss. So much rain and mud - not so blissful. Campfire and dinner on the bed. Funnier than jelly beans up the nose. Getting bogged - we almost couldn't watch. Winch eats bib. We laughed out loud and said OMG simultaneously. Very impressed with Steve's skill getting the rig out of the mud. Now inspired to visit some of these places. Did you manage to get the red stain off the front of the Quantum? Many thanks for another wonderful video. Anna and Des

We braced ourselves for the grim weather down south - it would probably have felt worse, if we hadn't just spent weeks in the total dry, with people and flies competing to see who could annoy us more. As to the getting bogged...not much fun at the time - we clawed our way out by the skin of our teeth and we were very remote - little chance of anyone coming along, no civilisation for many kilometres... a bit of a wake up call. A lot of the Murray is flanked by some pretty gnarly, bottomless clay. As to getting rid of the outback "veneer".... elbow grease with a scrubbing brush when we got home.

Glad you enjoyed it - the time that has passed since it happened has even made us only smile, instead of grimace when we watch that bog scene again,

Is this the first time that we've heard you speak on a video? I can't recall any talking on previous vids. This "Over and Under Down Under " has to be the best of your offerings to date. My wife and I have chuckled and laughed as well as making mental notes for our bucket list. How long have you guys been in Aus now?

...now you know why we never speak on video :) We went through some special places on this trip - we have traveled our new country a fair amount in the twenty years that we have lived here and are delighted to say we feel like we have only scratched the surface - so much more playground to experience.

@@MrHunterjagterFun I'm a SAFFA as well, been here in Perth for 23 years as from 19th of October. I'm married to an Aussie that I met in Durban 33 years ago, but we went to the UK to get married and then back to SA before coming out here. Best move ever! This is a beautiful country and yes, I agree with you regarding only scratching the surface, we feel the same way! Hope to have a beer with you guys one day, thanks for the vids! Cheers, Gary and Dianne, Perth.
