The last time I took the X-Maxx out for a drive there was an obvious clicking sound under acceleration. Since installing the Hobbywing brushless system with the Max 5 ESC, I haven't opened up the diffs or really checked anything in this truck. So it was pretty obvious that at least one of the diffs in the Traxxas X-Maxx wasn't up to the task of handling the Max 5 power. We need to figure out which one though as they are different so today we're wrenching on the X-Maxx.
While ordering parts, I might as well order parts for some other builds as well. So we'll look at the SCX24 that we started converting last week into a U4 rock bouncer and the parts we need for it. As well as some gearing options for the Mud Drag truck.
OH! And a little sneak peek at the new ramps I've started building! So much going on, a lot in this video!
Hope you all Enjoy!!
