I agree! Taking breaks are so important, because burnout is for real. Also i couldnt agree more that there is ABSOLUTELY NO POINT in comparing ourselves with other people in med school. Everyone is a genius anyway including ourselves. So the best is just to believe in ourselves. Thanks for sharing! ✨✨🤓🤓

Hey there!! Aww, thanks! I really appreciate you watching my videos 😍. My time during FIS was one of the best and it is not overwhelming at all. I would say that everything is planned for the students and the lecturers for FIS are REALLY REALLY GOOD! Just plan your studies well ( use the tips that I gave in this video, it helps as well ) and seek help from the lecturers if you need any. Hope that helps! If you have any questions, please leave them down below as well okie. Take care!

@@lathalakshmi5844 Yes it is fine but obviously if we have cadavers it would be better haha Tbh, I don't think by not having a cadaver will make u lose your knowledge haha In order for you to not lose your knowledge is by 1 way = constant repetition of the materials you have studied. Even if u have a cadaver, if you don't revise your materials, you will also lose your knowledge. In IMU,even though we don't have cadavers, we have mannequins for us to locate the muscles,body parts,etc and also plastinated preserved body parts too! Yes, it wont be exactly the same as having a cadaver but it is sufficient 😘

May I know whether does IMU update students on information regarding USMLE and also does IMU helps students to prepare for USMLE exams?
@REBECCANG
Жыл бұрын
Hello! I would say that our syllabus has some information/elements integrated in them that would be useful for the USMLE but it isnt entirely the same.. However, IMU does provides students with access to Amboss that is useful during your USMLE prep! You can enquire about the exams but they won't specifically update students on changes etc

hi this is kinda off topic but im curious about the temperature in the room (classroom, building, library or wtv)? How is it? Is it kinda stuffy , hot or cold? Hi Liew! Yes I have heard about it. Quite a number of my friends who were studying with me in Foundation chose chinese medicine! Hmm, not too sure about the scholarships for chinese med but since IMU only gives a limited number of scholarships per year, I guess it is a lil competitive. However, don't be scared to apply for it if you meet the requirements!!

Hey..would appreciate if you can give some tips about the interview.Thanks..
@REBECCANG
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sindhu! Not sure if this applies to online interview but I'll just be giving you my experience when I did my face to face interview for med school in IMU. They will start off by asking you about yourselves and then the classic question : why do you want to be a doctor. After that they will give u a case scenario where they want to hear your thoughts and opinions on solving the particular case. Dont worry, the cases wont be very medical related. You don't have to study any medical stuff before hand haha They just want to see how quick are you to find for alternative solutions to a problem thats all. The only tip I can give you is to be yourself and be confident ! When you are truly yourself, the interviewer will be able to sense it. They also constantly want confident students to represent them so, be confident! Hope it helps and all the best for your interview okay!
