Just a little overview over the GS-1 System from Bronica with a few Comments. I'm planning on doing a full review with the camera itself, as soon as i am back home again.
Do the extension tubes reduce the aperture ? I am planning to get the G-36 to use with my 150mm to reduce the minimum focussing distance...will that be a good combination? Thanks

Yes, the exposure factor is reduced (or prolonged) by a factor of 1.9 at infinity and 2.4 at closest distance for the G-36 with the 150mm. I don't have practical knowledge on this combination, however.

The 80mm lens is so hard to find.

If I use a 645 back do I need to switch matte screens for guidelines?
@vedabou

I recommend to do so since you can't properly compose your picture. In the other video I show a little workaround with cut paper. These screens are relatively hard to find unfortunately.

Thank you Victor.How do you manage to shoot without the hand grip?

My name isn't victor. ;) Shooting the Bronica without the hand grip is easy (using the WLF), but I prefer the camera to be on top of of a tripod. Using the the Prism without a handgrip IS possible but not convenient.

When changing from the standard 6x7 film back, to a 6x6 or 6x4.5, does the view-finder change to indicate the resulting image outline?
@vedabou

No, you need to install a screen (it's quite rare) that shows the respective lines. A cut sheet of paper will do the job as well, if you need to improvise.

@@vedabou Thanks! About the improv solution, is that placed on top of the ground glass?

@@AnaloguePhoto Yes, I just used an index card / file card. However, it might inhibit light metering if you plan on using the AE prism.

Great to know. I suppose some almost transparent plastic item could be used and take a meter reading with and without it. GREAT with a camera for all three negative formats. I suppose the film advance crank will work to advance the film in accordance with wich film back (magazine) is currently mounted?

@@AnaloguePhoto It's always one turn. Watch my other video where I also cover the weird (but normal) behavior of the back while screwing.
