Dandelion with Hot Bacon Dressing
Ingredients: Equal parts of water, sugar, and vinegar.
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 heaping tablespoon corn starch
1 hard boiled egg, optional
Directions:
Pick, sort, and wash dandelions. Pat dry.
Mix water and corn starch together to remove any lumps.
Add sugar and vinegar. Stir.
Start frying bacon. Drain, and cut or crumble. Add to water-sugar-vinegar mixture.
Cook until the dressing has body (slightly thick).
Drizzle over dandelions. Arrange a sliced egg on top (optional).
Enjoy this healthy dish of fresh greens.
