Maybe pack for 2 weeks and leave space for any other clothes you buy while you are there? :) I've just been in europe using the small backpack (seen in the video) and managed to do fine washing my underwear and main clothes every week or so. Sounds like you have laundry facilities so I wouldn't worry too much! Just bring enough underwear for 7-12 days and you should be okay with whatever else you bring! And if you were asking when to pack, do it anytime before the trip. I usually do it 3-4 days beforehand so if I need to buy anything I've forgotten then I have time to. Have a great trip!

Cool how you managed to pack so much in one bagpack! Is that altogether below 7kg?

jocelyn oon It might’ve been a bit over, around 7-8kg. I had checked in luggage anyway so it wasn’t an issue! But you can definitely get under the 7 kg mark with this backpack if you really planned it through :). A lot of my other trips though I’d have to buy a small bag overseas to fit any new stuff I bought, but one or two souvenirs doesn’t hurt.

What size were the eagle creek compression cubes

You could have easily fit that small amount of clothes in the large cube, that is certainly not enough for a month x

It's really common for people traveling with only a carry-on for any amount of time to bring only enough clothes for a week, and then wash and dry as they go on their trip. It is definitely enough.

@@julianabv3451 I pack light myself and wash on long trips but you brought loads of bras but hardly any tops! no dresses, no skirts ,no playsuits! Not one nice/smart/going out outfit ..it was a strange mix of clothes! If you pack for a week you have 7 day outfits in addition to at least a couple of going out outfits. As i said back then you could have easily fit everything into that one cube, you certainly didn't need such a large backpack, a 25L would have been plenty and you certainly didn't need backpack on top LOL!

Aloft Daydreamer The big grey one is from Kathmandu and the two green/white ones are Eagle Creek Compression Cubes from Anaconda which are Australian stores :). I think the eagle creek ones are American brand though. Thanks for watching! x
