I'm torn on who to vote for. Jazza's choice to do more detail with his paint gives him a lot of points, but his lighting effect isn't very good at all and he left a big joint line on his model's left bicep. Scott's lighting and stencil work are both really good, but his big F-up at the end and lack of detail take away from his.

Watched Jazza's video first. " If I masked each part of this model and painted each bit in normal tones like skin tones leather and metals, I'd maybe get through base coating each part". Each part of Jazza's project flashed through my head as you said that lol.

I think jazza actually had the upper hand in this challenge. He didnt come in with the experience of a master and so he didnt have any set rules or ways of doing things. This allowed jazza to do whatever he liked and whatever he thought looked cool (which makes his piece look cool) however if they had, lets say 2 weeks, to do the same thing, I think jazzas lack of experience would show since he doesnt have the experience to use the techniques a master would use. I think these things take time to do properly and thats what is said at the end of this video. He said that he has a way of doing things that he couldnt do due to the time. I bet that threw him off his game

@@professionalrookie8771 wow thanks! Its kind of how getting a new graduate in a team at work allows a new/fresh mind to look at things. As a person who just joined the workforce, I have given suggestions to things that the team had never thought of since they have a perceived way of doing things. Ive been watching jazza for a while and he doesnt really have a way of doing things. its almost like controlled chaos lol so hes able to be more creative and groundbreaking than others anyway, glad that my insight could be of use!

Jazza: humble beginner says he's not good but comes up with techniques such as taping over areas he doesn't want to get paint on. Gave it his all to try to make it as realistic as he could even though he didn't believe in himself at the beginning. This guy: Supposed expect at airbrushing. I think his planning and steps went to his head. He downright admits to us in the beginning that he's (not even trying to be good, and is trying to distract us from how bad it is). Let's not even mention that blood mishap at the end, he could've done something better than that. And is no one gonna point out how he used a paintbrush for the face?... I don't care if he was using it apply paint or not, it's still a brush!... he broke one simple rule. (Jazza did the mouth of his WITHOUT a brush) so this guy could've found a way to do the eyes... Using his hands, tape, toothpicks, etc. But as far as rules go he should've been disqualified. I think we can all agree that Jazza is the clear winner here for many of the reasons previously stated.

Hi Jazza, hi Miniac. Im gonna admit Im new to this channel, but I really like yours more (Jazza, Im serious). First of all, I really liked it that you Miniac took the magenta and blue color, since its so much kore different than the others. You Miniac also fixed your mistakes efficiently (not that Jazza did but eh). Jazza, your "great lighting effect" wasnt good to me. When I saw that ypu put that yellow in your miniature, I was instantly disappointed. The yellow color did take away the contrast, and i think its was worser than the white light you put on your sculpture earlier. So in MY opinion MINIAC wins! Thats my opinion of course. Dont judge me, just saying ;)

Honestly, I feel like Scott takes the win. Both were very creative with the lighting but Scott's experience with an airbrush and miniature painting in general gave him a huge advantage. He chose a very creative scheme that was easy to do with an airbrush and really showed lots of contrasts in his piece. He knew how to cut corners well without losing quality. He also used stencils which I haven't even thought of. Jazza on the other hand for your lack of experience you did pretty well. You did a goodie. I really like the idea of fire lighting the piece at night. maybe with more time and experience you could try something like that again? Also I find when there is lots of skin tones and clothes, its a lot easier to do the clothes first because of the complex skin tones. Overall the was really fun to watch and you guys are some of my favorite youtubers and its crazy that y'all are doing collabs.

An artificial-looking nose? Unless the teacher can make you see that the boy in the photo is not a psychopath. Our noses are so different from one another that we're often surprised when someone notices. Don't do this to yourself. I know you have loads of great noses-like mine.
