Your advice about when to stop and depth of field is really helpful. I learn a lot when you share the wrong way, as well as the right way, to use materials and tools with watercolour. Different types of snow in the sky like light snow blowing off trees or a roof in the wind in sunlight (sparkling), falling on an overcast day, or falling at night in moonlight or with holiday lights shining through would be interesting. Thank you for teaching. 😊💐

I grow lots of varieties of poppies in my flower gardens and have many beautiful pictures I could paint. I tend to overwork my floral paintings by using paint too thick for layers and maybe too many layers. I only use the best watercolor papers but I often wonder when is enough? I know know a layer can be partial and painted wet on dry and then just blended. I love your videos Shelley. If I can't watch the screen, I listen and STILL learn things. I'm so happy I found you. THANK YOU.

What is the type large brush do you use on background for wet washes (black brush)? 17:19

It's a Silver Black Velvet 1" oval brush (brushguys.com and others stores carry it).

May I ask….if you paint a dark background and forget to mask out your signature….what can you do?

I have done that many times. I will use an opaque colour in that case and paint on top. (Adding white to a colour will make it opaque)

What is with a dead poppy? oh a pin, wow, what about watercolor? Is this a tutorial on how to put on a pin? Most people learned that at age 6. Maybe not in Canada.
