Thank you for sharing your recipe! I would love to make this for my mum's birthday but i can't find hoen kwe flour in Australia. Can i substitute the flour with something else? Also, my mum doesn't like butter, can i substitute the butter with oil?

You can try using Mung bean flour instead of Hoen Kwe flour. For the butter, you can use canola oil. But never use olive oil in baking, as it has a stronger taste.
Beautifully prepared cake! I love pandan desserts, but only have been baking with the extract. I hope to find fresh or frozen pandan leaves at my local Asian grocery store so I can make a fragrant cake like this 🍰

Fresh or frozen pandan leaves really make a difference. You can always save the extra pandan juices in the freezer for later use.
