Glad you liked it! That was done all digitally - I created the full timeline in one very large photoshop file, and then added movement + animation in Davinci Resolve.

Also if you want to change the blending mode or even timing for it, you could nest the sequence and then treat it as a whole block instead of separate clips and change everything all at once there. It also works for compounding on effects available in Resolve! Lovely tutorial and straight to the point !

Hey! I was wondering instead of printing out the last frame wouldnt it be better to use a green paper? then I can use one recording multiple times as a transition just by keying the video. whats your thoughts?

You could try that - it might just look a bit different, because when the paper crumples up, it doesn't just get smaller, it also gets distorted and folded. But definitely try it and let me know if it works!
