Great interview, great person. So forthright and honest. She was so down-to-earth and real with none of those trappings of a Hollywood movie star, no airs about her. She was so very open and even answered questions on her romance/marriage/divorce to Rosselini, the director of her wonderful film "Stromboli". She also gave us an insight of how she switched roles with Lana Turner, opting for the bad-girl part, in the 1940's classic "Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde" starring that mountain of a talent, Spencer Tracy. I recall when I was a kid I used to cry every time I saw the wonderful Ingrid in Joan of Arc. Years later she proved her comedic ability in the glorious 'Cactus Flower' with another bundle of talent, Goldie Hawn and Walter Mathaeu. Yes, Ingrid will always be loved and remembered because she was a part of our lives that could never be erased. RIP dear lady!!!

A wonderful interview with a polished interviewer! Thank you! She had a lot of acting left in her after this interview. Wikipedia: "Bergman became one of the few actresses ever to receive three Oscars when she won her third (and first in the category of Best Supporting Actress) for her performance in 'Murder on the Orient Express' (1974)." Other roles followed. In 1982, Bergman played the starring role in a television mini-series, 'A Woman Called Golda' about the late Israeli prime minister Golda Meir. It was her final acting role and she was honored posthumously with a second Emmy Award for Best Actress.

People who learn to speak a 2nd language later in life, after having learned their mother tongue in infancy, never really "loose their accent", there is no such thing. Some might have a better command but the 1st language will always be stronger, overlap and show its influence, one way or another, especially when the mother tongue belongs to a different language family. The pronunciation is the first thing native speakers pick up on because that is immediately apparent to a listener, although it goes deeper than that. The brain has an extraordinary capacity for language assimilation, but non-linguists or people who never learned a foreign language to fluency rarely understand and realize that.

Casablanca is a great advert for the studio ‘system’ not unlike a players theatre, though the whole may not always have been right, the talent was so huge it could make everything work. As Ingrid mentions when she refers to all the wonderfully talented actors in small parts.

Yeah.UTUBE FROM UK.28.2.21. Parkinson ? Bergman. Now lets break this fantasy. he was heading Notts university prior to the firm Burberry. of Horseferry road SW1. Thats where we found crrptn in the HM Coroners. Burberry wont respond. We have found that Uni is full of corruptn as is the surrounding area incl Police. Courts. local govt. affinity groups. HM MPs and so on. He recently involved in anothet crrpt org which is mal funded ny Lottery etc. That also invlved the pretend ex Pm May. none of the ogs will answer questions. When we started discussing issues with a dept at notts the plug was pulled on the comms system and the person at their end disappeared. Altogether we have found similar things going on within 26 Universities. 26 Police areas. 26 Hm MPs. 26 local Govts.26 HM Courts incl CCC at E4 No reply from Baroness Kennedy at 'Justice' E4.(packs of lies'. The issue created by the 12 yrs we traipsed cent London knocking on doors accompanied by victims of the estab. We were subjected to violence and the culprits incl the public. The 1000 pp evidence was shown to BBC who advised this- .'Hide The Documents Abroad' We knew about 250 people at BBC and Cent London Theater. and they disappeared fast. Lufthansa Aircrash ask.Heres the latest by Local Govt- 'If Theres Anything Wrong With LG The Public Must Go Find A Lawyer' Both we and the victims searched for one for 12 yrs and we and they failed. Hollywood was so unfair to Ingrid in the late 40s / early 50s 😢 A lot of actresses in Hollywood had affairs with married men but didn’t get condemned like Ingrid did

It didn’t really help that she left her own child back home in the care of her husband to go search for fame ,find a famous married man and have children with him out of wedlock and then divorce him as well at the end .

Bergman was 58 years young at the time of this interview. "Casablanca" was the only film she ever made with Humphrey Bogart and, considering their onscreen chemistry, it was tragic that they never repeated that foolproof recipe 🖐😉
