This is a classic example of Malcom Magic! FYI-BBQ’d two 6.5lbs Spatchcocked Chickens with your BBQ Rub last Sunday for 6 people. NO Chicken leftovers! They were scraping the bits off the plate. Both couples ordered your rub ASAP! Malcom Reed is my go to guy for “How to BBQ Right”!!!

Going to do this on my Traeger tomorrow! Looks so good. I am going to lightly sprinkle a touch of smoked paprika on the taters. Thanks for this, I just got to thinking why wrap our potatoes when we could have them absorb all that yummy smoke and got on youtube and here you were and then the added bonus of the drizzle of bacon renderings! I can't wait!

Hey man, not sure if you care or not but I just thought I'd throw a recommendation out to use cast iron in place of aluminum foil. Many people don't know this, but aluminum off gasses a lot of toxin into foods when heated. Just throwing that out there in case you didn't know. But otherwise the food looks delicious, keep up the awesome cookin!

I bought a "Brickman Smoker" some time ago and been a smokin fool since,,,I love smoked food,,so your video got my attention,,never really thought of smokin potatoes but now i need to try and i buy garlic by the truck load,,,,so i`ll make that too. I have watched your videos in the past,,,but never found anything interesting to me since "Memphis" is supposed to be the best in BBQ,,,,,well i have smoked some pork butts for my wife`s "Pot Luck Lunches" and most of the black people told her,,,I could give some the BBQ places a run for the money. but i`m not a chef,,,i`m a carpenter that loves to cook

MALCOLM, Learned this recipe in a fancy ITALIAN restaurant in DALLAS . Put a whole giant garlic clove on a plate , cut the top to expose the meat, boil it in a pot with about 2 cups of milk. After it boils take it out of the pan and put it on a baking dish, pour EVOO into the top of the garlic cloves , bake it in the oven at 300° for 15 minutes. When it's cooked in this manner it gives the garlic the consistency of peanut butter ! Turn it sideways on a plate and squeeze the cooked garlic out with a butter knife ! 🔪 Unbelievable flavor with a little sweetness from the milk .
