The organisation where I am working (Jaguar Landrover) is moving to agile and I am being given the responsibility of a product owner for one of the components which has some hardware and software. Currently struggling to work it through , but I am confident that we will reach there even though there are some initial problems. I find this video very motivating in developing trust in Agile 😀

Excellent delivery, as usual, congrats to you for your graceful delivery. The agile principles are derived from the IT industry- software development life cycle -SDLC, true. Can you please relate it with the general business environment too in the coming videos, dear Vinod Narayan? It will be more ieal for lay people like me. Once again tons of appreciations, #Pahayan

Being Agile Part 2: 4 Core Values & 12 Principles 4 Core Agile Values 00:40 (1.) Individuals and interactions over process and tools. 2:55 (2.) Working software over comprehensive documentation. 5:00 (3.) Customer collaboration over contract negotiation. 6:47 (4.) Responding to changes over following a plan 12 Agile Principles 9:32 Agile Principles 1-4 1. Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software 2. Welcome changing requirements, even late in development. Agile processes harness change for the customer’s competitive advantage. 3. Deliver working software frequently from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, with a preference to the shorter timescale. 4. Business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project. 15:14 Agile Principles 5-8 5. Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done. 6. The most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation. 7. Working software is the primary measure of progress. 8. Agile processes promote sustainable development. The sponsors, developers, and users should be able to maintain a constant pace indefinitely. 25:45 Agile Principles 9-12 9. Continuous attention to technical excellence and good design enhances agility. 10. Simplicity- the art of maximizing the amount of work not done. 11. The best architectures, requirements, and designs emerge from self-organizing teams. 12. At regular intervals the team reflects on how to become more effective, then tunes and adjusts its behaviour accordingly. 33:29 Agile Umbrella SCRUM, CRYSTAL, DSDM, KANBAN, XP, etc. 36:29 Introduction to Scrum Life Cycle Components of SCRUM: • customer • Need • Value • Product Owner • Epics • Team • Scrum Master • Sprint Planning • Sprint Backlog. • Workable software increment. • Retrospection • Feedbacks. • In-depth planning and further changes in the development process 40:26 Scrum building blocks-6 1. Scrum Team 2. Product Backlog 3. Sprint Backlog 4. User Stories 5. Sprint 6. Scrum Ceremonies 42:10 Scrum Team- Agile Team • Fundamental building block with a number of 5-9 members. • Follow a common goal • Adhere to the same norms and rules • Show respect to each other • 3 Major Roles: Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team There may be more than one team under one Scrum Master sometimes. 45:00 Conclusion- Scrum Cycle can be divided into 3 Prepare-Plan, and Execute
